From the moment we walked into the reception checking area, the extravagant bouquet of flowers enveloped us. Our rooms were very cozy with the thickest mattress and softest pillows and bed linens. The shower gel AMS hands wash are delicate and delightful. Coffee at the bar was great too. I set up office in a nook on one of the many lounge sofas. The background music fully captured the romance of this property. Every picture, framed kilt and decorative piece is well thought out. This place is a must!! 🩷♥️💗

Location and friendly atmosphere.
Beer garden was a lovely area
With a picturesque setting on the banks of the River Dee, this charming Scottish mansion dates back to 1225 AD, and was once home to the Knights Templar.

We loved everything about the Mary Culter House. Our room very nice, comfortable bed, big roomy shower, mini fridge, coffee press. The young lady at the desk was so nice and helpful. The restaurant easily had the best food we’ve experienced on our trip to Scotland and I highly recommend the whiskey flight for dessert, it was all superb. I wish we would have booked several more days at that location.

we stay at Westhill, when we travel to Aberdeen.
we stay at Westhill, when we travel to Aberdeen. It is easier to get to Westhill than Aberdeen. However, there is more to see in Aberdeen. Last visit ,we found a really good Chinese restaurant nearby called. Yans' so we'll visit there again. We like The Holiday Inn,as it's clean comfortable, very friendly, Never a complaint at all. Plus our "Goldie" is always welcome

Buffet Breakfast is meant to stay open until 10am.
Buffet Breakfast is meant to stay open until 10am. But by 9.30am, the breakfast range is nearly empty. This has been the case for the 10 days, I stayed there with family at this hotel. We booked 2 rooms and there were 5 members of my family. Apart from failure to have range, choice and sufficient breakfast at 9,30am, other areas of service at hotel were satisfactory.
Breakfast is a crucial part in the success of this hotel. I felt they failed in that department. Therefore, I will not be staying with them in the future.

Excellent property for our business trip to Aberdeen - city centre is about 15 minutes drive.
Very clean throughout, huge rooms with plenty of space - Great bathrooms & showers.
Large fully equipped kitchen.
Overall great value for money.
Simon & Claire are amazing people and very good hosts, you will quickly see the Byde is an amazing place, stunning views, rooms super clean, spacious, well maintained, we my wife and I have been to many 4 and 5 star hotels, if I could rate the byde on there levels it would be a six, but since stars don't go that high can we say very resoundingly strong 5.
Both of us wish Simon & Claire all the best and will definitely be coming back to stay longer next time around.
The hotel is new and everything nice and clean. The rate per night was why we decided to stay in this hotel. Plenty of parking👍🏻
The breakfast was fairly decent, and I enjoyed it apart from the juice machine that was out of order...
Location of the hotel is really good (easy to find and stores nearby) continental breakfast was great, good choice of cereal, yoghurts, jams, fruit..., friendly and attentive reception and breakfast room staff
Great hotel. Plenty of parking. The room was nice. we dont normally eat at the hotel but we did here and it was a reasonable prices and was excellent. I would stay here again.
This hotel was chosen for its location and fulfilled this brief perfectly. The room was clean, confortable and quiet and the breakfast more then adequate.
