Good central location to the main attractions. Friendly owners and feels like home. You will need to go a long way to find the local shopping areas for food. So keep some parcel. I got free parking and the morning view to the mountains is stunning. Missing it would be a nightmare.
Good size room, bit dated but good size, comfortable and clean with an outside lavatory.
Would stay again.

Brig-y-Don was as close to perfection as could have been.
Linda and Nigel are perfect hosts.
The quality of their accommodation is outstanding.
Lovely warm welcome. Excellent room with stunning views across the estuary.
We opted to have breakfast at the property for the extra cost. Which was excellent and worth every penny.
We will definitely be returning.

Lovely location, very quiet and safe parking. A quiet area in keeping with this part of Wales. Close to local shops and beaches although we did not go to the beach. We shopped at the local supermarket and cooked for ourselves. It is easy to get around Tywyn although the road to the cottage is very narrow. We would definitely stay at this cottage when next in the area, it is a great price for a comfortable clean cottage with all facilities required.

Small friendly Welsh town near the beach.
Small friendly Welsh town near the beach. Good shopping, excellent restaurants, safe, short walk from center of town to the beach. A night at the Magic Cinema is a must along with a ride on the train to start a hike.

The accommodation was very clean and very tidy.
The accommodation was very clean and very tidy. It felt like home as soon as we sorted out our luggage and made up the bed. The toilet and shower was very clean there was a lot of cleaning products in the property so there is no excuse not to leave the place clean and tidy when you leave . The tv picture was very good. We had to use the tv one day as it a very wet day. The beach is just a two minute walk away . All in all it is a brilliant little place for up to 4 people . I think we will definitely be going back there again.

As regular visitors to Tywyn, we have seen it slowly deteriorate and for it now to have several empty shops etc on the main street is very sad. The issues with having no doctor within easy reach is a very worrying situation too.
We had recently been considering relocating to Tywyn, but our 2023 Easter visit has probably put paid to that with it now requiring a severe regeneration programme to make it more appealing for future residents and businesses, including our family of 4 (3 of which are trained engineers).
To have gone to the trouble and immense cost of building the new sea defences, to now let this beautiful historic town appear as though it is on it's knees is an absolute travesty. Shame on the town council!

We were surprised how quiet tywyn was for the middle of august when we visited, considering the lovely weather we had for the week. Always easy to park & the beach & generally walking about was fine as not too busy anywhere. We thouroughley enjoyed our stay in the area & having never visited this part of wales before will defo be coming back.

Tywyn is a very nice seaside town in southern snowdonia and is an ideal base for walking the area.
Tywyn is the main base of the Talylln Railway which is a must to go on if you are staying there
The beach is a bit pebbley but is sandy as the tide goes out.
There are plenty of cafes and eateries but most are only open during the the day.
There was not much choice of places for an evening meal except two exclusive places in town where you have to book and two Indian if you like Indian food
There is a pub on the front which serves very good food but the menu is very limited and stops serving by 8pm.
