Our room was a great size with a lovely shower room, however the fold out futon which our son used wasn't very comfortable but luckily he can sleep anywhere!

I took pictures
First thing I do is check under the duvet and bedsheets. Black long hair under the bedsheets. So bedsheets not changed or cleaned at all.
I'd love to show you the photos.
Wasn't impressed.

The value of the food and drink on offer in the bar was incredible. I was very pleasantly surprised by the value for money in the bar, and the variety of the menu. I wanted to eat here ten times over. The room was as anticipated, and on the first floor - the staff listened to our request and were happy to accommodate. The staircase up was a little narrow but that suited my grandma as she could lean on the walls and staircases.
This beautifully restored, Victorian hotel and coach house annex is located within 5 minutes' walk of the town center, on the best side of town.

Location decent for anyone looking to stay in Tamworth. Have to say best night sleep I have had in ages, generally struggle sleeping away from home. For £45 for the night, it was very good value. Owner very polite and outlined was carrying out works. Wish him all the best in updating.

The Tamworth Arms is a great place to stay, with friendly staff, very good food and clean rooms.
We enjoyed our walk around the town. The castle looked lovely all lit up at night. It would have been nice to have been there during the day to visit the castle and find out more about the King of Mercia.

Tamworth has a lot in it.
Tamworth has a lot in it. A massive retail park with loads of shops, even got a Primark, lots of food options on it too, Nandos, Pizza Exp, Mcdonalds, KFC and loads more. There's big ski centre, its got everything if you want to venture out at night or find yourself short of something you forgot to pack.

The historical side of Tamworth is well worth looking at.
The historical side of Tamworth is well worth looking at. Unfortunately the town centre looked tired and neglected. To many closed down pubs and shops. Shame because the pubs that are open are good, as are some of the shops.
Central location. Parking in close-by public car park. great welcome by Aaron. Warm room and good bed. Lovely clean sheets and plenty of tea and coffee etc in the room. Iron and board + hairdryer. All in all a good stay although the hotel gives you the feeling it is a little tired (the hotel is old though). the wedge wood conference room is beautiful (we had our wedding reception in the wedgewood room 45 years ago!)
Really good value for the price not the greatest hotel room in we've stayed in but for the price it was what It should be.
The staff every single one was absolutely fantastic so help full and welcoming anything we asked for we got they cant do enough for you we can honestly say even the the rooms are very average the staff were one of the most accommodating in all the hotels we have been to.
Frida, Saturday and Sunday and Monday I would rate as ( to 9.5) Sunday afternoon I would rate as ZERO or negative. The BAR STAFF WERE ATTROCIOUS for this reason I will NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. Also which I believe is illegal NO INSTRUCTIONS for IN CASE of Emergency!!!! HOW THE HELL DID THEY GET A LICENSE TO OPERATE. Already contacted Tamworth council and Fire Brigade
The hotel was perfectly located across the road from the Assembly Rooms. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the food in Christopher's was delicious. There was real coffee and a cafetiere in the room as well as biscuits which was a nice touch.

Using my friend's blue badge meant we had free car parking next to the hotel. The room was fine and the shower room new and shiny! Being on the edge of Tamworth enabled us to travel in and out of the town easily. Breakfasts were freshly cooked.
very clean and comfy bed , room had been renovated so everything was new, hotel only reopened that week and having a few teething problems but the staff attended to all issues arising immediately
Proximity to shops, castle, transport. Lots of things to do in and around Tamworth. Good hub to travel to other areas.
Huge living and dining area. Plenty of storage. Big kitchen.
turned up to this hotel and it was not open. Empty property with a building site around d the back. Tried to phone them with no answer and we had to find alternative accommodation!
Location was excellent. Food(breakfast) was very good with plenty of variety. Restaurant was clean and tidy. The general atmosphere in the hotel was pleasant and welcoming.
Hotel is comfortable, breakfast was good, only missing sunny-side-up fried eggs, as I don't like scrambled eggs. Other than that, the breakfast is great.
Having moved away from Tamworth when I go back to visit friends it's my first choice every time .excellent rooms excellent staff just all round quality
