Strangford is a lovely little village with very friendly locals and just enough facilities. Nice little home bakery, good pub and 3 x decent restaurants. You can get the ferry over to Portaferry if desired but there are lots of things to do close to the town. Castle Ward is walking distance, nice little beach close by, Saul and Downpatrick are all within close driving distance.
Ian was the perfect host. Met us with keys and showed us round. We were attending a wedding in Strangford so apartment was perfect location . It was spacious and spotlessly clean. Ian left a selection of items so we could make breakfast. We hadn't been expecting this so was a real bonus. There is a beautiful courtyard garden which we were able to use to eat our breakfast as the weather was gorgeous
Stunning house set right in the heart of the village of Strangford. Booked it for the weekend for my hubbie's 50th birthday. We had a fabulous time and we were able to bring our wee dog along to join in the celebrations! Very close to some beautiful beaches, just a short drive away and lovely walks right on the doorstep offering amazing scenery 💚☘ would love to do it all again!
