Breakfast was great and generous with personalized eggs.
The location was good. Given that the town is quite small we didn't mind it being a little up the end of the road which was actually quite near a roofed carpark.
Perfectly located at the gates to The Cathedral Close and ten minutes to Stonehenge. The Chapter House is steeped in history and culture.

Starting from and running through Stoford, there are some scenic walks along the river Wyle and also to the ancient settlement of Old Sarum. Very little light polution, so stars are clear on a cloudless night. Stoford is a little outside Salisbury, handy for those who like a rural setting, but also just a short drive or cycle ride to the city and the famous cathedral. There's a pub called the Royal Oak in Great Wishford, just over the river from Stoford, which does really tasty food. Stonehenge is an easy drive away.
