Friendly and helpful staff, the room was lovely and breakfast was so tasty especially the mushrooms and sausages. Loved the little touch of ear plugs in the room, totally expected it to be a little noisy being in the location it was and being a Saturday night. Didn't bother us at all but the ear plugs were brilliant.

The buses into Nottingham are really good and regular, start early and finish late and they also go to Derby. Don't rely on cafe's being open, we had to walk some distance past several unopened cafe's before we came to a takeaway with tables that we could get a meal in! Most likely a good place as a base to go elsewhere. There seem to be a plethora of takeaways

Although travelling by car, noticed very close to bus route to Nottingham and Derby, bus stop right outside hotel

The property was easy to find with ample parking.
The rooms are clean and warm with comfortable beds.
There are two takeaways 2 mins away and a pub with a good selection of beers.

You get a tv, a kettle plus private shower and toilet.
