The Plough is one of the nicest places we’ve stayed at and we are well traveled so this means a LOT. It’s clean, spacious and well maintained. The staff at the pub below work very hard and it shows. They are incredibly friendly and helpful. We were able to drop our luggage off before check in time (our room was ready a good hour or so prior to check in and we were able to go into the room) The room had plenty of towels, the claw foot bathtub was amazing. There were plenty of drinks in the fridge and tea and coffee available if needed. The bed was super comfy and the room very quiet.
We are dinner at the pub which was delicious. I had the fish pie and my husband had the duck. Both were exceptional. We also ate a full English breakfast prior to check out which again, was delicious.
We have a couple of days left in this region and will definitely book another room on our way back on this trip.
I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone. HIGHLY.

The breakfast was delicious and all staff were really friendly. Fab location for us to explore the nearby coast. We had a great stay.
