Skelmersdale itself is just okay, but the opportunity to visit the surrounding area is worth it. A visit to Martin Mere Wetlands Trust is a must, also Dunham Massey for the deerpark. Pimbo garden Centre has a fantastic cafe and lovely friendly and helpful staff
Friendly helpful staff doing an amazing job. Fabulous evening meal had in the bar/lounge area - steak cooked to perfection. Breakfast lovely as well. Outside area lovely but wet weather meant we were unable to enjoy.
Stayed when restrictions, due to Covid-19 pandemic, were in place and the hotel did an amazing job of keeping everything clean and procedures in place to keep guests comfortable and comfortable.
Probably one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed at. The staff were friendly and professional. The room was well thought out with plenty of space in the family room.. An added bonus was the bed was incredibly comfortable.
The hotel was very welcoming, plenty of parking spaces, the reception entrance was modern and clean, staff friendly, efficient, courteous and check in was quick and easy, room very nice.
This was the third time we have stayed at this hotel in the past month. The staff were as usual very friendly and courteous. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them.
