On arrival the reception staff were very good. They were friendly and very helpful.
The room itself was excellent. It was in a great position with views over the lawns and beach.
Breakfast was also excellent with attentive staff, hot food and large variety of alternative foods.

The staff were nice and friendly, but felt they were stretched too thin - cleaning away after breakfast, cleaning rooms and covering reception. The restaurant evening meal (although a limited menu) and breakfast were lovely. The shower in the room was the best part of the stay.

The apartment was comfortable and had all I needed. I really liked the layout and the views were spectacular. Excellent location too.
The owner was so friendly and accommodating. She left a complimentary breakfast for us too, which was lovely.

Very clean and spacious bedrooms which have a tea/coffee making facilities, fridge with milk and water. Lovely big bathroom with walk in shower. We would definitely return

Nardinis ice cream parlour and fish and chip premises is rightly famous, well worth a visit. So is the lovely Haylies hotel farther on for steak etc. The Seamill Hydro next door is a fab hotel with a lovely pool but does loads of weddings. There is lots more too.
There is the wonderful nearby coastal walk near Portencross and a castle there to see.

I found Seamill Hydro to be very comfortable. I have a nice large bathroom which was well appointed. I enjoyed using the spa facilities. The food was good, not fancy just good. The is a lovely beach walk to enjoy as well.

Very friendly and helpful check-in - I got a call en-route to check what time I would be checking in and everything was ready for me. Very comfortable room, great bed, well equipped bathroom and plenty of working space. Very nice outside garden area and views are stunning (it was a very pleasant couple of evenings). Good food in the restaurant and reasonably priced for a good hotel.
The location was fantastic, views breathtaking and the hotel had a lovely flow throughout. Room was much larger than expected and jacuzzi bath a bonus. Staff pleasant. Lovely couches to enjoy pre and after dinner drinks. Will definitely return.
The staff were lovely, the view was absolutely amazing, and the room was spacious and clean (apart from a few minor things). The room itself was warm due to hot weather however the hotel provided a fan which was also great.
Hotel was clean, large & had beautiful views. Breakfast was also a stand out, ours was included in the room price & would usually be a buffet but it was all made to order and had a great menu selection.

I had stayed at Seamill House Hotel before and it was just as good as the first visit. Very comfortable, spacious room with disabled facilities to suit my mother. Fantastic food and friendly staff!
Hotel is in fantastic condition, can only think it is recently refurbished. Excellent location a stones throw from the beach.
