This hotel is far more upscale than I am accustomed to. It is lovely, the restaurant is very good. The location is far if you walk from the train station, although probably convenient if you drive. It is outside the center city area, quiet and pleasant.
The George Hotel is located 12 minutes walk from Norwich City center, where guests can visit all the city's main attractions such as the Castle, Cathedral and Chapelfield shopping center.

All staff helpful, friendly and professional. Breakfast was delicious, plentiful and with plenty of choice. Bed was comfortable and large. TV a good size and conveniently placed. Good shower, electric towel heater (v. useful). Plenty of plug sockets. MUGS not cups...yay!!! Nice area (golden triangle) and very convenient for visiting family and walking into town. Will definitely book here again!
