Great experience, went to see grandson in show, but decided to stay overnight. Great place to walk round, nice architecture and variety of shops - scotney castle 10 minutes away
One on the best places to eat from all places I’ve visited - the grill restaurant at the barn. Excellent food and great value, if I lived locally it would be weekly visit without a doubt.

Pleasant town for sight seeing.
Pleasant town for sight seeing. Good transport facilities by local transport. There are a reasonable number of eating places and the usual Coffee chains offering refrehments. The Pantiles is the usual visiting spot for small shops and antiques. There is a central Railway with connections all over the country. Has bus and taxi services too. There is a local library in the town centre with an interesting museum. There is an extensive shopping mall as well. There are some parks and some hills that could be explored, all near the centre of town

It is a very interesting town.
It is a very interesting town. There are many fascinating buildings dating from the Georgian period, including the Pantiles.
The shopping area, although small, has several quality outlets.
The general vibe of the town centre is very good especially at night.
Of course, Tunbridge Wells is set amongst beautiful Kent countryside.
A great place to visit.

Despite the early morning cleaners - the noise was intolerable and we could have done with a lie in, considering we didn’t have to check out until 11 - we left by 9! We only had one night booked but expected more . For the price, breakfast should have been included .

We stayed at this hotel over the weekend and we’re very pleased with everything we found there. A very clean, quirky, quiet hotel with great decor, very friendly polite staff and our room was perfect ( superior king room). The breakfast was great, hot and very tasty! I would highly recommend The mount edgecumbe hotel.

The hotel was very elegant, and classy. It was comfortable and suited our needs. The toiletries in our bathroom were really lovely. The location was very near the town centre and station, and walking distance to our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding venue ( the reason for our stay).
We only had breakfast but that had a good choice of continental and cooked. We had a smooth checking in procedure and good updates and messaging through Booking.Com. All members of staff were pleasant and helpful. On the whole we had an enjoyable stay.
Really lovely hotel with great spa facilities in beautiful grounds. Would be a fantastic place to get married. Had a nice relaxing 2-day break there and wish we could have stayed longer. Not cheap but good value considering what a beautiful place it is. Onsite charging for our electric car was good. Flat charge of £12
Stayed in Room 18, third floor corner front room. It was quiet and spacious with a nice view over the town. The bathroom was spacious also with a nice big window for light. There were many, nice choices for breakfast which we enjoyed. Easy walk into the park, town and to the Pantiles thought it is uphill coming back.
All staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. William assisted carrying suitcases to our room as there are many stairs and no lift. Location is excellent, close to many options to eat out. Hotel dinner for the Pantiles Jazz night was delicious. Paid parking was easy and close by.
Excellent location, steps from the Pantiles and High Street. Lovely couple own the cottage and offer a quiet, quaint place to rest your head after a day of being out and about. While the place is small, it offers everything you need including a small laundry.
Anand lodge is a budget hotel but in it's class it is one of the best I've stayed in. It is what you might expect, functional, everything works, but the room was small and with limited storage but as I said, it is what it is.
We liked that the hotel had character and history. We loved the grounds of the property. We loved the bathtub in our bathroom. It was also nice to be able to see the property from the small window in our room.
Staff were genuinely pleasant and helpful. Hotel had a heavy western theme which was amusing. I imagine kids would love it. Perfect location for the Forum, Pantiles and High Street.
Efficient, friendly service at all points of contact. Good to stay in a family managed hotel that gets its customer priorities absolutely right.
Steak and kidney pie excellent too.
Fabulous breakfast.
Full range of breakfasts on offer. Opted for the Full House and didn’t disappoint. Arrived promptly, well presented and hot.
Location of Hotel excellent.
Excellent service throughout hotel. Beautiful room and very comfortable bed. Very thoughtful, they realised was a birthday and provided a gift in the room. Will return!
