The room was as advertised, very clean, spacious and we were kindly provided with two extra cot beds for our two children. The room was cleaned daily and nice refreshments and treats (especially for the children) were also provided on a daily basis. The room was very well equipped with a TV and a spacious ensuite bathroom with a large shower and the usual amenities one can expect. The Breakfast included in the room rate was also excellent, the Hotel provided a nice range of options to choose from and was quite substantial and nourishing, very well worth the price. The staff were all super friendly and always ready to help, they were also very patient and understanding with our children (who can be quite a handful sometimes). The property is also equipped with a spacious parking lot and we always found parking bays available for use. Although the Hotel has a pub downstairs (which is also a plus), we could hardly hear any noise and did not affect our sleep at all (anyway the Pub closes at 11pm sharp). All in all it was a very positive experience for us and this Hotel in fact exceeded our expectations. Will definitely be booking again with this property and it is very easy to recommend to others. Definitely worth every penny.

The room was very clean and well equiped. The room has a TV, a mini fridge and a kettle, which came in very handy throughout my stay. The host was very friendly and helpful, who made an overall experience even better.

Everything was great!
Very clean, very comfortable and quiet flat right in the centre of Romsey. Close to everything: the Abbey, bus station, shops, the chippy, the park, cafes restaurants and takeaways.
And lots of fine pubs, especially the Nightingale the Cocky Anchor and my favorite - the Three Tuns. The train station and Waitrose are less than a 10 minute walk. Flacks brewery is about a 20-minute walk.
Ramsey has lots of History and a very satisfying Heritage Walk
Check in and out was very easy and Liz was an absolutely wonderful hostess. She answered all my questions very promptly and I felt welcome even before I arrived!

Lack of sufficient staff resulting in for one - shortfall on maintenance.
Smell of urine in bathroom, balconies to rooms filthy with years of neglect.
Profusion of weeds around outside leisure areas.
The overall impression was that Potters Heron is just about surviving.

We stayed only 1 night as we were attending a music event at The Plaza Theatre. We visited the Memorial Park and Abbey before looking around a some of the independent shops. The bar food was delicious in The White Horse and we had an excellent coffee and a panini in The Exchange.

A very quaint english market town.
A very quaint english market town. Historic pubs, excellent shopping options. Daily rotation of vendors in the market square selling everything from plants, vinyl records, clothes to fine baked goods and olives.
Beautiful at Christmas time. Take a day trip to Salisbury cathedral, home of the Magna Carta.

Romsey Abbey is worth a visit.
Romsey Abbey is worth a visit. There is a new stained glass window of Florence Nightingale.
The abbey volunteers are very warm and helpful.
Romsey is a pleasant small town . It even has a cat cafe.
We enjoyed our visit.
Bee Cottage is in a quiet area with a pretty little river a few steps away. Inside it is very spacious yet cosy and spotlessly clean. We are a family of 5 and everything we needed was there. The downstairs shower room was an extra bonus for us. The town centre is within walking distance with a good variety of shops. There is also a lovely park very close which we visited a few times.
Absolute find! lovely room for a very reasonable
price. We were upgraded, so this probably helped with my glowing review but the whole place looked really nice. We also ate in the restaurant in the evening and had a lovely meal and some cocktails. Romsey was a cute town with an Abbey worth visiting.
This hotel has a lovely feel. The staff are helpful, friendly and caring. It is ideally located for Southampton, Winchester and the New Forest and is quiet and peaceful. The room was clean comfortable and warm and I felt secure travelling alone.
Convenient location for a stop over on the way to the West Country or to visit Romsey and the New Forest. We have stayed here before a few times and the service and food has been better. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable.
Great room. Excellent breakfast. Lovely location with friendly staff. Parking onsite included and close to Romsey town and surrounding attractions. Broadlands and Beaulieu.
