The breakfast was great. Dinner was great the night before. Staff was lovely. Room was clean and comfortable with great view. Our only complaint was we were right above the bar and could hear the music. But we were tired so fell asleep pretty quick.

Rampside is best approached via the coat road from Ulverston - superb views all the way. Continue through Rampside and take the causeway road to Roa Island, visit the RNLI Station and shop, take the ferry to Piel Island. Great views all around.
