We really enjoyed the location—in the middle of town. The gentleman who greeted us on arrival was friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed the historic documents in the breakfast room. Waitstaff in the bar were very kind. Despite having little parking in town, the Inn has a designated parking area, which was helpful.

The Cross in is really cozy and homely.it is also located in one of the most intriguing and unique villages in Britain. It also has a fascinating history, having played a part in the story of the infamous coiners gang. Worth googling on. It is also a very short walk to Sylvia Plath's resting place, which is in the shadows of the beautiful ancient church ruins
We travelled for the Eureka's Children's Museum. Fab place so much for the kids to do, all the interactive items were fully working and everything was very clean. Staff were very friendly and my children especially loved the role play town! Could do with a few more indoor picnic tables but otherwise it was perfect! We would definitely visit again in the summer as it was too wet to explore outside
