No. 10 Preston was a wonderful stay. The welcome and check-in was seamless. The flat was comfortable, cozy, elegant and beautifully decorated. The location is perfectly close to everything, and with new restaurants and shops opening up along Fishergate, there are so many options if you want to try out a new restaurant, club or simply chill out in a cafe. The staff are incredibly kind and are available if you need anything. We loved our stay.

I was visiting family so that was good, It has tried to be a cafe society and there are some nice small cafe's and artisan bars but the people are depressing, seem happy to walk round eating burgers and drinking cans of beer. like all towns lots of empty properties, charity shops etc.
Will be good when the Harris museum opens again next year.

I only visit when I have to, visiting family.
I only visit when I have to, visiting family. I have made several trips over four years. First impression was of a grubby town, streets and public spaces covered in litter. Sprawling industrial parks on the outskirts. Ubiquitous pavement parking makes it dangerous pulling out of residential side streets. I have found little of cultural interest to do in the city, apart from the museum, which has been closed for refurbishment. No decent venues for live music or theatre that I am aware of. Easy enough to get a basic and pleasant meal from the usual restaurant chains. I haven't made much attempt to research into more interesting venues for eating out, apart from RK dining which is great for vegetarian/Asian takeaways. I think there is a good range of different cuisines if you look for it. I guess the University is Preston's saving grace from being a purely industrial town. It is reasonably easy to navigate the city centre on foot or by car, and regular buses. It does have a good number of well maintained and accessible public parks, and a good walking route via the Guild wheel. Brockholes is a good place for nature, although close to a motorway. A range of pleasant areas of Lancashire countryside are a short drive outside city.

Preston is a lovely town.
Preston is a lovely town. I visit because I have close family there, but I wouldn't say it is a hub for tourists. There are fantastic attractions, like Hoghton Tower, and the downtown area is very quaint. When with family, we usually go to a great fairly local pub or other restaurant for lunch/dinner, and there are plenty of those with great food and ambiance. I love going for walks in the local area.

Love this area at Barton and surrounding areas of it.
Love this area at Barton and surrounding areas of it.
We love the Barton Grange garden centre and the lovely resteraunts in the pubs in the local area are really friendly.
The spa facilities at barton Manor are really good and ecelant friendly staff there too.
Great location 5 minutes to the train station and less than 10 to the high street. The bed was big and very comfortable with a TV and wardrobe as well as a kettle with two bottles of water, tea, coffee, milk and sugar. The bathroom was small but nice with a hot shower and light up mirror. The room was warm and had a nice big window. The hotel was easy to locate and check in was easy and explained well over the phone with Imran. Thank you for a lovely stay.
The hotel promotes a 10/10 as its main goal, and it pretty much met what it advertises. There was a warm welcome from front of house, who also accommodated my request for a quiet room. The room itself was comfortable and clean, and food in the restaurant (whilst slightly limited - as most of these kind of hotels are) was perfectly acceptable.
The location was ideal for what I wanted as I needed to attend some performances held on the Market Square in Preston City Centre.
I like the self check-in side of things, as it allowed independence.
It was also very near to the train station and the lovely little park in front of the building was ideal to relax and enjoy the sunshine.
Breakfast was excellent, bed was comfortable the place was busy, so that's always a good sign...
Fantastic service all round.
If I need another room while in Preston again, I'll be sure to stay here.
Direct transport links (buses) and taxi was about £5 from taxi rank across road from train station...
Very nice staff for checking in, very polite and friendly. Hotel was clean and room was lovely, comfortable bed, tea and coffee etc. The location, just off the motorway is convenient with easy parking and ready access to get back on the road or head into Preston.
We took our granddaughter to Preston for a long weekend as we didn’t want to stay in Blackpool and this hotel was perfect. There are a few restaurants close by including the one on site that suited our needs.
Beds we’re comfortable and the room was clean.
There was very little to like about this hotel, the whole service and room was really not comfortable or enjoyable but I have to be honest
the staff were incredibly rude and threatened to run my property over as I waited for a taxi and it’s on their CCTV
We all were made very welcome. The host was very accommodating to our requests.
Our rooms were very spacious both with ensuite.
The hotel is in a nice area.
A 5 minute drive into the centre of Preston or 20 minute walk.
WE WILL BE BACK. 😍
My parents (who I booked the room for) said they loved the breakfast in the morning and that the staff was very friendly and helpful. When I visited I thought the hotel was very lovely, both in the common areas and in the guest room.
The room was excellent and very comfortable. The kitchen facilities were fantastic. And it was only a short walk in to Preston City Centre. I would recommend the property as an excellent alternative to the local big hotels.
Lovely clean, comfortable room. Friendly, efficient staff, and good choices of food for both breakfast and dinner. Would recommend to anyone visiting Preston, as it's a handy location for the City centre.
Very cheap room close to Preston centre. Ideal for a short stay visiting friends. Clean room and comfortable bed, good sized room for the money. Staff very nice, helpful people. Secure and safe area.
Arrived at 4:30, sun blasting room, window open because no air conditioning....spoke to manager who said “we don’t advertise that we have for conditioning. No Preston guest houses have a/c.” !!
6Adelphi is a great little hotel literally a stone's throw from the bars and restaurants in the centre of Preston. The room was perfect for what we needed. Would definitely stay again.
The apartment size was excellent, the location was spot-on, being next to the train station and the rain shower head provided was great. We experienced a great stay.
