Our host Jane was wonderful and messaged throughout our stay, making sure we were all settled and comfortable. We were even able to have a later checkout at no extra cost- which was much appreciated with the pouring rain! The location was fabulous, with stunning views across (photos do not do it justice) the bay and a lovely coastal walk to beautiful secluded beaches ( Coastal Path). The accommodation sits in an elevated position, which was not a problem for us, but maybe for someone with mobility issues ( this is stated). The bedrooms were all of perfect size and easily fit 2 families or group size of 8 and the added bonus of 2 lounges was perfect. The main lounge has a fire that we made use of and is great for warming the soul on winter nights. The hive heating also kept us nice and warm. We have already booked another stay for next year!

A great, true 5 star stay in all aspects.
Very well set up and very much as advertised.
Super clean too.
Glenda was also a very helpful host; all communication done efficiently via the Booking.com website messages, etc.
The stay was modern, spacious overall with a very practical full kitchen and a superb (ie well designed) bathroom. The large and thick and super soft bath towels were an extra treat too.
Parking was easiest out on the street; though there is a small space behind the actual terrace house / off the rear lane. Lots of locals parking on the suburban street too; but we managed a close by park each time over our 3 night stay.
A quiet location but only a 1-2 minute walk to the town’s main street and 1 minute further walk to the large Tesco.
Porthmadog is a great base for an extended stay in this part of Wales.
This was the best apartment stay of our 6 weeks of touring Wales and the south of England.

Porthmadog, location was good for Snowdon, primary reason for going there. Seemed a little run down - personal opinion - didn’t have much time to look for places to eat and when we did they didn’t seem that obvious unless it was a pub or takeaway. Shame really the port is very pretty. Might be better in high season, but for me not my cup of tea.

The town is a busy little place with plenty of choices for eating out , bars etc. It a key access point for two heritage railways, and for Portmeiron. Black Rock Bay is superb, rolling dunes and sandy bay for miles. Very large holiday home resorts back onto the bay, though well hidden. So expect some very busy times and lots of families enjoying their weekends and holidays, out of season the beach is perfect for beach walks.

Great restaurant's to take your pick from.
Great restaurant's to take your pick from. A really lovely pub (The Australia) highly recommend and the Snowdonia national park on your doorstep . you can also take advantage of the main line train to do large sections of the Wales coastal path getting off and walking a section and on again at different stations, Note, please tell the conductor witch station you want to get off at as the train doesn't stop automatically at all stations.
Welsh coastal path is stunning in and around porthmadog well worth walking.

Ffestiniog Steam railway from the town. Portmeirion a short ride away. Stunning location. Not to be missed. Porthmadog great location for day trips out. This is a Tale of Two Rooms. The first night we were in a twin room in the attic. it was on the 3rd floor and I can barely walk. There was no lift. The room sucked so bad my husband told them we would not stay for a second night. The reception hostess was so nice. she managed to switch our room from the attic to the best room in the hotel for the 2nd night that room was very nice. it had a private patio, a king bed plus a twin, a larger bathroom and we were quite happy with it.
Tasteful and stylish smart decor, comfortable beds and lounge furniture and a well equipped kitchen. Plus a powerful large walk in shower. It was lovely to be able to see the Porthmadog harbour and all the comings and goings through the patio doors and from the balcony deck. Quiet area, beautiful location. We went crabbing from outside the front of the apartment over the harbour wall. Fantastic property!
Although we could only stay for one night, we were really happy with our caravan. It was immaculately clean , with everything you could need. very comfortable beds.
The site is in a lovely part of Wales and very peaceful.
The site is an ideal base for walkers and anyone who is into outdoor activities.
There is a great children's play area and an on site hotel with var and restaurant
Perfect location for visiting the Llyn Peninsula, easy walking distance to Porthmadog for restaurants etc. Property is in a very quiet location with good parking and outside seating area for those late breakfasts and early evening drinks! Anghared was an excellent host, had taken great care with the welcome pack and was happy to be contacted at any stage.
Very good location in the center of porthmadog. Easy access to town, shops, pubs, port... But can be challenging for elderly due to position on hill.
Big house, very well equipped kitchen, clean and modern bathrooms. New comfortable mattresses. Very nice area for holiday of any category. Host very helpful, good communication.
We stayed her for a night while traveling through North Wales. The location is beautiful, hotel is surrounded by woods, very peaceful. Staff is very friendly and always ready to help. Room was modern, clean and cozy, bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back when in area.
The hotel is in it's own grounds surrounded by a park of mobile homes and villas, with a footpath along a stream.
Room was very clean and modern. Public areas were cosy and well furnished. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't eat in the hotel, but the food looked and smelt wonderful.
The hotel was located in a lovely little hamlet on the edge of town. Great location for exploring the local area. Hotel was clean and quiet and the room was equipped with everything we needed. The bar downstairs was open for food and drinks in the evening. Staff were very helpful and friendly
Gorgeous holiday flat with plenty of room. Bright and airy. Super comfortable and in a great location for exploring Porthmadog and the surrounding area. It was perfect for our family of adults. The parking space was very useful. Communication with our host was prompt and helpful.
Location was great, very pretty area and quiet. Back patio was amazing, well done on renovations. Dinner was delicious and not overpriced. Breakfast was great, lots of food and fresh!
Parking was available outside free of charge - amazing!
All staff were helpful and friendly!
Superb and spacious accommodation, recently modernized and has all the facilities we could think of. Spot on, representative, and in a good location. Includes a free parking spot in a central area of Porthmadog.
Excellent support and fast communication.
Customer service in all areas was excellent. Breakfast in the hotel was fabulous, great choice from the menu and buffet. Evening meals in the hotel and castell were superb. Location of our room, Bridge House couldn’t have been better!
Choice and quality of the food was very good at breakfast and at dinner.
Hotel is well located on the High Street so a good base for exploring the local area.
Our room was spacious and the bed very comfortable indeed.
Brilliant location. Short walk into Porthmadog and Aldi across the road, but also on a circular walking route (although I only realised when I came out near the property half way round!). Comfortable and clean.
