The accommodation was exactly as described, bigger than I'd imagined and in a beautiful setting. It was wonderfully clean and high quality with everything we could have needed including the small important things we always forget in self-catering - washing up liquid, tea towels, kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets etc. Asma and Lisa could not have been more helpful or accommodating. A perfect stay, thank you so much.

The location on the promenade was perfect, ferry terminal about 500 feet away and the bus stop to the airport outside the front door. Visitor welcome center inside the ferry terminal and made it easy to get information and maximize my time.

The town of Port Erin is situated around a beautiful coastline, and the bay itself is stunning. The local people are very friendly and helpful. Transport to-and-from the town is excellent, there being regular buses to most parts of the island, and the train service is efficient and quaint.
Shopping was not so good during our stay (late April 2024) as there was only a small Co-op supermarket, with limited stock, and an even smaller Spar with the same limited goods. However, Tesco were in the process of developing a large store in the centre of the town (not sure of opening date). Note, the pubs are good with nice meals served.

Beautiful little seaside village, relaxed and friendly, walking distance from Falcons Nest Hotel which is a great place to eat, especially lovely Sunday roast, reasonably priced. Small parade of shops including Newsagents, Co-Op, Fish and Chip shop. Nearby, Chemist, Post Office. Delicious ice cream at Scoops cafe. Regular bus service into Douglas every 20 minutes. It is a beautiful little village but everything you need is within walking distance. A Post Office, Chemist, 2 good gift shops, several cafe's, a really good fish and chip shop, and a several outlets that sold Davisons ice cream. Proper pubs and bars. Not to mention the train station which is lovingly maintained and straight out of an Enid Blyton novel. Very easy to get round as it's mostly on the flat except for when you drop down on the beach. It is also well serviced with buses as well. It has some very interesting local history as well which the Falcon's Nest is directly involved in.

Port Erin is one of the most scenic areas of the island especially if you get a good sunset. Plenty of walks, great beach and local cafes/pubs. Great place as a base to explore the rest of the island too.
This hotel has a lovely atmosphere (which is why this was my third visit) and it was great to see that this is just as strong despite the challenges of COVID. Much of that is down to the warm and friendly staff who go out of their way to help and make you feel really welcome! The location is hard to beat and facilities in Port Erin are better than you might expect for a small place. Great bus and steam railway links from just outside the hotel to Douglas and the rest of the island.
A lovely place to stay in Port Erin, with very friendly hosts. English breakfast is excellent, but the big surprise was Chinese "dim sum" for breakfast! Delicious.
The room was very comfortable, and the guest house is a short walk from the beach, local shops and the railway station. The steam railway is a fun way to get to Douglas for a day out - highly recommended.
Location was very good - just metres away from the sea and I'm sure any unobstructed views from the windows at the front of the hotel overlooking the bay must be fabulous. Staff were great, breakfast was very good and the meal we ate at the hotel was really nice too.
The location is great and the breakfast was fantastic., and the staff helpful and friendly. I enjoyed seeing that the hotel had been remodeled/refurbished since my last stay there. The new carpeting and reception area was lovely.
The location was excellent, a short walk from town, bus terminus, train station.
The accommodation was spotlessly clean.
The proprietor was prepared to be flexible over such things as deviating slightly from the breakfast menu.
Excellent hosts. Comfortable room and great shower. Lovely breakfast. Guest house has a Chinese restaurant with excellent menu and very tasty👍 The Guest house is situated close to the beach and Port Erin town centre.
Superb location, right in the heart of port erin, but lovely and quiet too. Really friendly, helpful and informative hosts - thanks Jen and Alan for some fascinating insights into Manx life.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Also, the food, both in the evening and at breakfast were excellent. I picked this hotel at random and was very pleased with the location
