The accommodation was exactly as described, bigger than I'd imagined and in a beautiful setting. It was wonderfully clean and high quality with everything we could have needed including the small important things we always forget in self-catering - washing up liquid, tea towels, kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets etc. Asma and Lisa could not have been more helpful or accommodating. A perfect stay, thank you so much.

The location on the promenade was perfect, ferry terminal about 500 feet away and the bus stop to the airport outside the front door. Visitor welcome center inside the ferry terminal and made it easy to get information and maximize my time.

The town of Port Erin is situated around a beautiful coastline, and the bay itself is stunning. The local people are very friendly and helpful. Transport to-and-from the town is excellent, there being regular buses to most parts of the island, and the train service is efficient and quaint.
Shopping was not so good during our stay (late April 2024) as there was only a small Co-op supermarket, with limited stock, and an even smaller Spar with the same limited goods. However, Tesco were in the process of developing a large store in the centre of the town (not sure of opening date). Note, the pubs are good with nice meals served.

It is a beautiful little village but everything you need is within walking distance. A Post Office, Chemist, 2 good gift shops, several cafe's, a really good fish and chip shop, and a several outlets that sold Davisons ice cream. Proper pubs and bars. Not to mention the train station which is lovingly maintained and straight out of an Enid Blyton novel. Very easy to get round as it's mostly on the flat except for when you drop down on the beach. It is also well serviced with buses as well. It has some very interesting local history as well which the Falcon's Nest is directly involved in.

Port Erin is one of the most scenic areas of the island especially if you get a good sunset. Plenty of walks, great beach and local cafes/pubs. Great place as a base to explore the rest of the island too.
Hotel undergoing extensive renovations by new current owner. Rooms a little dated but spotlessly clean, with change of bedding mid week, and clean towels when needed. Breakfast selection good as was the hotel evening dinner menu, reasonably priced. Toiletries provided together with plenty of tea and coffee. Free car park. Nothing was too much trouble for the hotel staff, often going above and beyond, very friendly and attentive.
Lovely breakfast, rooms spotless, and lovely hosts. We chose the Guest House - since it was within 5 mins of walking distance to the Isle of Man Steam Railway in Port Erin. The railway was celebrating its 150th anniversary - so we were over for this special event. Port Erin is lovely, quieter, and feels more peaceful. Though the whole is quite laid back and friendly.
A lovely place to stay in Port Erin, with very friendly hosts. English breakfast is excellent, but the big surprise was Chinese "dim sum" for breakfast! Delicious.
The room was very comfortable, and the guest house is a short walk from the beach, local shops and the railway station. The steam railway is a fun way to get to Douglas for a day out - highly recommended.
The potential view which was marred by the scaffolding. The food was except and the attention we received from Vic one of the staff - he was very helpful and addressed our every need.
The areas that had been updated were very nicely appointed.
The old part of the hotel was rather sorry for itself.
Location was great, 3mins walk to Port Erin Railway station/beach.
Room was excellent. Very neat and clean although small. The shower facilities were quite good as well.
Breakfast was wonderful. English and Chinese breakfast for choose, and A lot of fruits and juices.
Would like to come back again.
Perfect location with fantastic views across Port Erin bay. Great walk up through Bradda Glen to Milner’s Tower very accessible. Plenty of shops, pubs and cafes in easy walking distance. The steps down to the beach are right in front of the property. Parking was also very easy.
The location is great and the breakfast was fantastic., and the staff helpful and friendly. I enjoyed seeing that the hotel had been remodeled/refurbished since my last stay there. The new carpeting and reception area was lovely.
The location was excellent, a short walk from town, bus terminus, train station.
The accommodation was spotlessly clean.
The proprietor was prepared to be flexible over such things as deviating slightly from the breakfast menu.
Fantastic location with beautiful views of Port Erin bay.
Apartment located on 2nd floor with easy access via a lift.
Well equipped open plan kitchen and a nice bathroom.
The whole apartment was very clean and tidy.
The location is lovely, right by the beach and in the centre of Port Erin.
The staff are fantastic; all 3 R's - Reception; Restaurant; Room Service - they all made my stay easy & enjoyable.
The hotel's position over the bay is fantastic. In addition, the hotel appears to have a proper chef, and in the evening served up freshly made food of a good standard.
