The breakfast was very good. The room was a bit smaller that we are used to. There was somewhere to sit but it was not a place that was suitable for drying my hair and putting on make-up as the only mirror was not nearby. Anyway, we managed okay. Staff were very accommodating. We hadn't eaten that afternoon but we were told we could have a take-away in the bar. Therefore, a few doors down from the hotel we got a really lovely Chinese Take-Away.
The owners were very helpful and kind. We showed up with three children age 10 and twins aged 6.
The room was a good size.
I saw that the rating was really high, and decided to go for it in choosing this hotel and it was well worth it. I anyone is looking for a nice place to stay I would recommend it.
We are vegetarian and they made us an excellent breakfast.
Parking was excellent as was the communication.
The staff who run the hotel were really polite and friendly. Gave us loads of information about transport to and from stadium of light and all round really kind. We travelled as two young girls to see Beyonce and the women who ran the B&B made us feel so comfortable and they were really chatty. Breakfast was lovely, so happy with our stay :)

The host Jeff very polite down to earth fella stunning location looking over the sea, with a huge grassed area for young children to play safety..

Excellent breakfast, good choices available. The hotel room was comfortable and had everything needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect to enable us to visit Seaham, Welfare Park, the Royal Navy Museum and Heugh Battery Museum at the Headland.
Breakfast was lovely. All freshly cooked by the owner.
The room we had was the courtyard studio - situated on its own in the hotels beer garden. The room was very modern, clean, had everything we needed. The TV was the biggest I’ve seen in a hotel room.
The hotel and facilities were immaculate, the breakfast was lovely and the staff were very friendly and welcoming and nothing was a problem.This hotel is beautiful and we can’t recommend it highly enough.
Netflix in the room was a wonderful and unique surprise. Very much sets a hotel stay apart. Tne fact you get your own key is great to for access I and out. Very pleasant/jovial host.
