The staff were exceptionally warm and friendly and made us feel really welcome as a family. The Reception staff made a fuss of the children and gave them a little Welsh cake and a token for a free drink at the bar when we arrived and always took the time to talk to us and the children about our stay in Cardiff. The room was clean, comfortable and a decent size for all of us and the food in the restaurant was delicious (both dinner and breakfast). We would definitely come back and would recommend the Holiday Inn for families on a budget. The Reception staff also recommended some sightseeing, which turned out to be perfect! (A riverboat trip down to Cardiff Bay. They even recommended a nice playground for the children.)

The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. There was plenty of space to relax and make yourself feel at home. The shared kitchen area was also a lovely addition to our stay. We had a roast dinner at the pub and that was excellent too.
