Cheerful welcome by Manager who showed me to my room. Professional and courteous staff, large comfortable clean room, decorated on theme of local coastal village, Thorpeness. Loved the yachts on some of the furnishings. Delicious, well presented dinner and breakfast. Highly recommend.

My breakfast was cooked to order and was excellent! The lady that cooked and served my breakfast was friendly and we had a nice conversation about the hotel’s history and the area.

Extremely friendly staff, easy check-in, a lovely large room. They found me an iron and ironing board, and made me a packed breakfast to take as I was leaving early. I had dinner, the meal was lovely.
At night, the only sounds were those of the birds, no traffic and a beautifully quiet neighbourhood.
