The staff were so attentive and friendly. Sean was funny and great to chat to.
We ate lunch dinner and breakfast in the morning. All. 3 Were utterly faultless. Beautiful setting. The owners have thought of everything. Extra tea and coffee; extra blankets; even a toothbrush and mini paste. Pool table and board games a bonus too.

The Stables has good sized rooms with comfortable furniture and bed, a well equipped kitchen and shower room, a high pressure shower and heated towel rail. It is cosy and warm, very clean with plenty of local information, maps, books videos and games. The owners have thought and planned carefully to provide a lovely holiday retreat.
The only note of warning needed is to expect the power shower to be noisy, but you are warned about that in the information pack too.

This is a remote location that requires a car for access but is a beautiful area and the accommodation was lovely. Defiantly recommend a stay here.
The Black Bull in Nateby has brilliant food but need to book even on a Thursday night in late September.
