Breakfast was fine as a Coeliac the chef adjusted the menu so that I could have an omelette which was not on the menu. Eggs benedict fine as were pastries, although just a little bit too much hollandaise sauce.

Great location and plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. Ideal for walking/ Cycling and if you have a vehicle then plenty to see Hadrians Wall , Keilder Forest and reservoir , castles and coasts.

Unfortunately there is no public transport whatsoever to Otterburn and a taxi from Newcastle would have cost a fortune. Luckily we got a lift or it would have been problematic to get there. Only one pub (attached to the wedding venue) within walking distance. We went solely for a wedding. Otherwise not a destination we would have chosen for options to entertain ourselves.

I loved the location, surrounded by the most beautiful countryside.
The standard of the Guest house was outstanding, it looked good and it felt good. Breakfast was superb. the staff (owners) were professional, helpful and couldn't have done more had they tried.
there are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity, although, I would suggest booking prior to arrival, demand soon outstrips supply.

We visited for a friends wedding which we were attending th night do, on the afternoon we went for a walk from the pods into Otterburn village and we saw dear which was amazing, lovely little place with friendly locals.
The style and decor of the hotel was very nice and the service from staff was top notch. The room was very comfortable and had all the elements needed for a pleasant stay. The fresh coffee in the room was a nice touch. Both the evening meal and the breakfast were very good; both in terms of quality of the food and service. Some lovely touches with fresh pastries and french press to enjoy whilst waiting for the breakfast to be cooked from fresh. Very picturesque setting.
I was in Otterburn for my friends wedding. The location was perfect! The host was so accommodating and let me pick the keys up earlier, even though it was before check in and my room wasn’t quite ready. The room was lovely and cosy, the twix was a welcome treat when I got back from the wedding!! All staff were lovely and breakfast was fab, lots of choice and quick service. I would definitely recommend!

Was lovely for friends and family staying in Otterburn hotels, to be able to pop round and socialise.
Was lovely chilling by the log fire each evening, (take your own wood, etc).
The cottage was perfect for our stay, it was clean, cosy and warm with great style! The location was perfect for us checking out Otterburn ahead of our wedding this year. The property had everything you could need and was perfect for our dog.
The location was perfect, superb scenery and a really peaceful, quiet setting. The hotel was comfortable and relaxed, staff attentive and welcoming. Good food with great breakfast. Such a relaxing stay.
Greeted on arrival and shown to an excellent room. A taxi was arranged for us to our evening destination and to return. Breakfast superb and cooked to order.
Overall a lovely stay in a lovely hotel.
Perfect stay for a group, well equipped and we loved the hot tub. Host was helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Location was quiet and short walk into Otterburn.
