Overall it was a good stay just a couple of issues we only had 1 bath sheet in the room between 2 of us, the tea an coffee facilities had milk missing so couldn’t have morning coffee/tea . We were very pleased with the fan in the room it was definitely needed .

Old farming town regenerated by a University. Easy connections around the North West by train, bus or car.
Some excellent restaurants and pubs, to suit all tastes and budget. Various supermarkets and local market day on Thursdays.
The property is location in a quiet area in Ormskirk, the rooms are clean and provide all the needs required for a comfortable stay during a vacation. The shower is really nice and the washrooms are well maintained !!! The rooms have everything you can ask for and the place is very very nice for the listed price !!
The hosts are warm and welcoming !! Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in and around the area …
Great location near train station so easy to get to Liverpool/Southport.
Large accommodation with roll top bath and separate shower. It was lovely to relax in a bath full of bubbles and listen to my spa music!

We contacted the hotel regarding a room suitable for a wheelchair user and despite it not officially being a wheelchair access room it was spacious and very comfortable. There was a lift to the first floor and we were assured a room would be available on that floor. There was an accessible toilet in the dining area so since we were only staying one night this was perfectly acceptable to us.
The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It was easy to get to and only a few minutes drive form Ormskirk. Staff were accomdating and the selection of beers was great. We loved being able to go to the restaurant and then just stumble to bed afterwards - no need for a taxi or a dediacted driver!
The location is fairly convenient. I was being dropped off at university and found it was helpful for my mum since the pub is located close to Ormskirk along a major road.
The facilities were clean, albeit the pillows seemed somewhat deflated, so I assume some of the bedding is old.
We had a lovely welcome, very friendly and helpful, the garden was spacious and had toys to keep the children entertained and the hot tub was lovely too. There's also a shared play area so it's a great place to stay for a family.
