Absolutely loved it, the pod was brilliant,loved the location, the hot tub was just what we needed to relax in. It was just so peaceful, and we had a little visitor, a magpie who came and literally popped his head in our door so I gave him a few crumbs of cake, not too much mind cos it was lovely lol

The Shepherds hut was AMAZING. Really good value for money, never seen a basin integrated into the toilet system before very unique. Very clean peaceful area. The shower was amazing so powerful even tho it was located by the hot tub, but for us this wasn't a problem. It was nice to cool down in the morning as the hut was rather warm even in October, so walking to the shower was a bonus. The site manager was extremely helpful and very polite, he is an asset to the company. On our drive back home we have already booked again for November. Thank you for an amazing experience

I only stayed one night - it was central to travel to Zip World at Penryhn Quarry. Could have happily stayed longer if time permitted.
Therefore I can't give an accurate review of Newborough but what I did see was lovely

We had a great tapas meal in the Red Squirrel cafe - it closes for winter, but look out for it in Spring/Summer. Newborough Forest was beautiful and we walked for miles. Everyone really friendly. We hope to return.

Newborough is a quiet village in a very scenic location. There is a well equipped village shop a few minutes drive from the cottage and an interesting transport museum a few minutes walk away. From the cottage is a panoramic view of the mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia), Quiet beaches are within easy reach.

Fabulous cottage that provided all the homely comforts, perfectly located - will definitely be visiting again. The whole of Anglesey is within easy reach but plenty to do within its own location.
Great place for walkers or those who want a more stay at home location - pub, local shop and great chippy all within two minutes walk.
