On a working farm, these pods are overlooked by the ruins on Roy Castle. The “Guardian of the Castle” is a magnificent Highland cow. Horses and mules roam the fields outside the front door. This is simply a peaceful and perfect spot.

Loved the history, the location behind the old railway, and the little park in front. Also, the bathrooms were updated, and there were plenty of USB outlets.

Shona is a wonderful and kind host. Probably the nicest person we've come across so far on our trip. She always wants to make sure you're comfortable, and has such lovely tips for enjoying the area. We loved the town, and the property is so beautiful and well kept. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, made with love. The area has so many walking trails, and birds chirping all day and night. So peaceful. Thank you Shona for your hospitality!

David and Beate were amazing hosts. We felt at home.
The accommodation was huge, ideally located in the city, within walking distance of good restaurants and pubs.
We had wonderful advice on every question we had. Breakfast was amazing too.
I will definitely go back to Haus Alba for the whisky festival next year !!
Thank you for everything :)

We liked the location, the property, the room, the little extras in the room, the breakfasts were varied and really nice. It was nice to have sufficient parking spaces for all the guests. Isla and her brother are fantastic hosts, they couldn't do enough for each of the guests. They provided lots of really useful local information with history and also information for people traveling further afield. A big thumbs up from my wife and I. If we were ever to visit the area again we would contact this host above all others.

Well worth the price , good breakfast and evening meals were excellent and great value. The staff were friendly and helpful on both evenings we stayed. My wife is vegetarian and they altered their menu to ensure ahead had exactly what she wanted. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and warm. The only minus point is the reception and main staircase could do with a freshen up! Minor point considering the value for money stay we had. We will definitely be staying again in the near future. The location if you like all things outdoors is spot on

The pictures on the website, their's as well as those on Booking.com, do not represent the reality on the ground. The hotel is completely run down and needs to be refurbished. Booking.com should not be having this hotel on their site.

Nethybridge is a lovely wee village. Much quieter than Aviemore but with lots to offer for people wanting a quiet retreat. The Nethybridge hotel is great for meals , there’s a cafe , farm shop and walks from the village centre.

Yes staff were very good and helpful they went out there way to make you feel welcome it was my wifes 60 th birthday and they did bring in our cake that I supplied at our dinner and sang happy birthday it was great. Just the overall outlook of the hotel was very disappointing I was embarrassed showing friends and family how the hotel looked it's very shabby. The hotel gardens. Which was actually across from the hotel was immaculate but deceiving I thought you had to go up a long drive way to get to hotel but was actually off of the main street very disappointing for my wife she felt quite embarrassed because I went to a lot t of effort to make it perfect for her

For the price we were very pleased with Nethy Bridge hotel.
For the price we were very pleased with Nethy Bridge hotel. A 3 star hotel but we would rate it 4 star. It had everything that we wanted. Even a small lift to the 3rd floor. The staff were very nice. Breakfast excellent. Rooms very comfortable. Perfect location for us with so much to do and see.
We visited Cairngorm mountain, G2 Outdoor zip wire, quad biking and clay pigeon shooting. A great stay and all activities reasonably close to Nethy Bridge.

I paid £150 for a night at Nethy Bridge which I thought would buy me a luxury stay. It did not.
Shower in the room was very poor.
We had dogs with us so had to eat in the games room - not the bar as advised prior to arrival.
Also got charged £9.50 (hidden) for a private breakfast which was just us sat in draughty lounge and having to walk through reception to self serve breakfast.
The atmosphere was of the coach trip variety.
Perfect little cottage in idyllic location. It's spotless and finished to a high standard. Equipped with everything in you could need. The log fire is an excellent touch and now I want one! It snowed while we were there so that was excellent.
Very close to nice cafes, local spar shop, and hotel for bar/restaurant. River runs through the garden too which is really relaxing to listen to.
Hosts were excellent and have literally thought of everything you could need to make you feel at home.
Great value for the money. The hotel does look a bit tired and could use some fresh paint in the corridors, new carpets etc. to breathe new life into it but it's lovely otherwise. Staff was absolutely lovely and made our stay.
The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The four poster bed was super comfy. Very pleased with breakfast options, delicious and generous.
we were there for a weekend wedding, which took over the whole building and grounds. the food is excellent, the staff went above and beyond in all things. the weather in the Scottish highlands in April is extremely variable so they set for the wedding both inside and out, making a lot of work for themselves. Maybe i had rose tinted glasses but i loved every minute of my stay.
Booked 1 night for 9 people for a friends get together , even before arriving at the hotel the staff were very helpful ,each time i phoned up asking questons....when arriving on the day the Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, as were the bar staff and waiters, the service was excellent and all would go out of there way to help you
Lovely apartment in a beautiful area, the hosts were very nice and even offered some breakfast items. You can do a nice walk through nature to the Nethy Bridge Hotel for dinner. But the best thing: a highland cow near the castle and the miniature donkeys you could watch from the porch :)
This is an historic hotel. If you want a modern hotel, this place is not for you. It could use new carpets throughout, but the atmosphere was wonderful. Our beds were clean and comfortable and the bathroom was updated and very clean. Breakfast was substantial with many choices.
Central location in quiet Highland village. Spotless, well appointed cottage with beautiful garden looking onto Nethy Bridge.
Ideal location for us walking Speyside Way one day to Granton on Spey and another back from Aviemore with help from local bus service.
Nethybridge Hotel was a gem. The staff was excellent and a main reason we would be back. Rona and Daniel were great and made us feel welcome even after arriving very late to our accommodations. We would love to stay here again when we come back.
The house was very nice and the owners had even decorated for Christmas which was a nice touch. The location was beautiful, ideal for a trip away from the city and not too far away from Aviemore. Would definitely return.
Granite cottage was lovely and cosy. Very well equipped kitchen with quality appliances .Having two living rooms was a bonus.Really handy having a general store and hotel so close by.Great communication with the owner.
The location was excellent in a small village next to the visitor centre with convenient shops, cafe and Hotel/ bar/reataurant. It was beside the river with country walks accessible from th adjacen visitor centre.
The hotel looked beautiful from outside and the gardens were fantastic. added bonus of a horse in the field next to the gardens for my horse obsessed daughter.
The beds were very comfortable.
The cottage is well equipped with everything you might need. We loved the log fire.
It is in a perfect location, right in the centre of Nethy Bridge with some really nice walks nearby.
Location is fabulous. Great walks close at hand. Friendly efficient staff. Good simple food. Cosy, well stocked bar. Ample parking. Great 'traditional Scottish hotel' ambiance.
love this hotel and so good to see it coming back on form following the last terrible 2 years for hospitality. please support this great team of hard working staff.
