This was a last minute booking for a funeral , the loft is beautiful, but there are a few minor errors and needs a new toilet seat

Right in the centre of Nantwich. Lovely, helpful staff, lots of character, clean functional rooms. A reserved corner in a carpark just for the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nantwich is beautiful with varied architectural buildings, lots of places to eat and drink, leisurely walks can be had by the river and there are plenty of shops.
There was a quality street market on the Saturday we were there but it wasn't too busy.

Quaint town with some well-preserved old buildings and loads of pubs. Stayed at the Cheshire Cat, drank at the Black Lion, the Crown looked fantastic (but didn't go in) and Ebeneezer's Beer Emporium is a surprisingly cosy and fantastically stocked craft beer venue. Had a cuppa in the Book Shop which is an amazing building. Visited the Museum which is decent considering the size of the town. The lauded St Mary's church is impressive but in our view doesn't live up to it's hype. And the River Loop (which isn't really a round walk as we understand it) was also a little disappointing although pleasant enough.

The size of the accommodation, it was massive & within very easy reach of all the shops & the cafe beneath the accommodation provided everything you could wish for & I enjoyed the most beautiful full English breakfast whereas my husband went for the pie & chips, all delicious. It was a great chance to meet up with an old friend who lives in Nantwich.

It’s a pretty town centred around the Town Square and St Mary’s Church, with very little in-town traffic and plenty of pedestrian areas. It is a compact little town, very walkable and pleasant to stroll streets of attractive small shops, interspersed with quiet residential corners, lots of gardens, trees and flowers, and everywhere friendly people. Interesting architecture from early Tudor, Georgian and later times, a good little museum, market hall and the Civic Hall where you can get all the information you require. We ate at the Pillory House Coffee Shop and at various fish and chip shops! all very good, especially Welsh Row Fryer.

Nantwich is historically fascinating.
Nantwich is historically fascinating. Beautiful Norman Church. Good indoor market three mornings a week. Other markets at weekends. All shops are independent and different. A rare thing. Very friendly. Large beautiful central square. Loved it.

Historic Cheshire town well worth visiting and staying overnight.
Have stayed in both the Crown and Cheshire cat. Worth walking circular riverside and canal trail. Good marina and café short walk from city centre Excellent central square with both outdoor and separate indoor market . Good bookshop and very good choice of restaurants. Easy to get around town. We ate in a good Chinese restaurant. Enjoyed staying overnight in the very historic Cheshire cat with free car parking and excellent location and breakfast and helpful staff but would not stay again at this hotel on a Saturday night as extremely noisy due to a night club which is outside of the control of the hotel but would definitely stay again midweek or on a Sunday
The apartment was spacious, modern and fresh. It had excellent kitchen facilities and a good sized bathroom with a bathtub with shower. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have a lounge to relax in. There's also a large wardrobe for clothes. The property is in close proximity to the town centre and nearby bars and restaurants.
Staff are very friendly and the breakfast was hot and tasty, I was impressed by the quality of the food. Overall, this was an excellent stay and would not hesitate in recommending the Cheshire Cat.
The Blacksmith Cottage is set in the sumptuous grounds of Dorfold Hall a Grade I listed Jacobean mansion located on the outskirts Nantwich in Acton Cheshire. Upon arrival we were met and greeted by Sam an affable member of Dorfold Hall personnel who guided us to the cottage with a very informative introduction. The accommodation provides amenities befitting comfort of a recently tastefully renovated building (the actual Blacksmith cottage) which does not disappoint and enhanced our birthday celebrations.
Good central Location for Nantwich and surrounding areas, private parking and garden (even if a neighbouring cat visited daily for its toilet habits which obviously can’t be helped) a co-op just around the corner and Morrisons and Aldi 5 mins away! Comfy beds and bedding, nice touches with the little soaps and tea/coffee and dishwasher tablets to set you up on arrival. Washing machine, dishwasher and washing airer all useful too!
Pleasant country hotel near to Crewe. Clean and tidy - traditional countryside 'old world' feel to it. Not at all stuffy, very informal. Room was clean, common areas were tidy and overall was a pleasant enough stay. Reception were helpful. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was standard fare, well presented in a lovely old style breakfast room over looking the gardens.
Excellent..hotel staff very friendly...this is the most unusual place I've stopped... it was very old hotel with slopping floors uneven staircase wooden beams ...it was a brilliant little find...I had the comfiest bed ever (room 9)...if you ever stop in nantwich stay at The Crown ...9/10 ratings...Nantwich has some good little pubs worth visiting
The house was very close to Nantwich centre and so we could check in after rehearsals and get back into town quickly for the concert I was singing in. As the housing development is relatively new, it may not appear on GPS, but once we found the road, it was easy. Our hosts were very welcoming and their little girl was charming!
Room was spacious and warm. Bed was comfy. Bathroom bright and well-appointed, ie. generous double shower. Large TV in the room and plentiful tea/coffee-making facilities. The Railway's location was perfect, literally a 7-8 minute stroll into the centre of Nantwich with plenty of nice pubs and restaurants on the way.
Beatifull surroundings, very much out in the countryside yet within very easy reach from Nantwich.
Room was spacious, bed comfortable and hosts friendly, they have a lovely, welcoming dog too.
Breakfast was delicious.
Quirky old old hotel. Great ambiance and food in restaurant is very good. Great location in Nantwich. Close to train and bus station. Within walking distance to canal.
Location was absolutely stunning. Quaint 'chocolate box' cottage with Beautiful garden surrounded by lots of green space and fields. So peaceful and quiet
