Location was great, and there's usually space to park there. *** The staff went out of their way to be helpful and allowed an early check-in + happy for me to leave my bags after check-out so I didn't have to drag them round while waiting for my lift. The flexibility is much appreciated ***

Loved the view from the dinning room looking over the ocean. There was a good variety of food along with good atmosphere. We enjoyed the signer and his family one evening. The bar staff knew their Single Malts. Staff always had a smile and greeted you and offered advice when asked. Good location for accessing a variety of things to see from castles to beaches and lots more. Nice beaches to swim on if you don't mind the cold of May.

We prepared breakfast using the kitchen. Coop is very close if need shopping.
The king bed was comfy and nice but it was making noise when in action. The mirror in the bedroom was nice but you need to adjust the height to the same level as the king bed height.

Everything was high quality including our breakfast ( lovely bright breakfast room with super views). Easily one of the best (actually, probably the best!) Place we ever stayed. Highly recommended, many thanks

We have visited Inverness three times now, but this was our first stay in Nairn. The beach is very welcoming with plenty of space to walk, run, play and enjoy the views; this is the kind of beach I would visit and walk along every day if I lived there. Located close nearby are various historical places to visit (Cawdor Castle, Culloden, Clava Cairns) and Inverness is not far away. Not being much of a "city person" I love to wake up to views and fresh air -- and Nairn offers places like the Invernairne Hotel that enable you to do that and still visit so much nearby.

Lovely seaside town near Loch Ness.
Lovely seaside town near Loch Ness. The beach was lovely to stroll along, as was the canal. Lots of restaurants dotted around town. An amazing ice cream shop located in park near the beach is worth seeking out. The architecture of some areas was stunning old Edwardian homes, really enjoyed wandering around the streets looking at them.

Charming town. I recommend visiting the Nairn Museum first. Their volunteers are helpful and have first hand knowledge of the history of the town. I recommend having a car to travel to sites around Nairn that are too far to walk.

Nairn is a very nice town except for the High St which like most in Scotland is suffering at present. However nice to remember the old shops closed now Mackays grocer, Rose Brothers, Gauls toy shop Heards Morgantis to name a few, Nice to see Pat Fraser is still there. Recommend the Classroom at the top of the High Street to eat. Very easy to walk around and nice walks at the river.
Well situated for accessing Inverness and Elgin by car and for exploring nearby historical sites such as Culloden and Cawdor Castle. Very friendly hosts who made beautifully presented and delicious breakfasts. They also provided gluten free toast which was wonderful (thank you!). The rooms were incredibly clean and comfortable with nice bathrooms and amenities. It was also great to be so close to the seashore in order to take a walk in the morning by the water. Great place to stay and hope to visit again in the future!
Washington House is the best B&B we’ve ever had the immense pleasure of staying in. We were greeted with a warm welcome, the house is beautiful and our room was lovely and spotless. Aileen and Arthur are truly wonderful hosts; Arthur’s breakfasts were nothing short of delectable and were, along with his morning chats with us, amongst the highlights of our memorable holiday in Scotland. We couldn’t recommend Washington House highly enough.
Everything. Location was fabulous. Wonderful & beautiful beach on your door step.
Hotel was very clean and our room was lovely. The atmosphere was very relaxed and out hosts were so welcoming and fun. And nothing was too much trouble.
Breakfast, which was excellent, was served in a beautiful sunny dining room with beautiful sea views.
I would highly recommend The Invernairne. And will definitely be back
Room was light and airy. Big windows thag you can open. Had separate lounge area and bedroom, both areas are nice and clean, carpets looked new or had been cleaned and kept well compared to say a premier inn hotel so I didn't feel uncomfortable putting my bare feet on the carpets.
Fridge in room a bonus so was able to keep drinks cold.
Bathroom again was clean with 2 large towels to use, bath mat.
This beautiful house is in a great location just outside of Nairn. Our room was nice and big, with a great jacuzzi bath. Hilary made us a lovely breakfast both mornings.
The house is backed by a forest with lots of paths for walking. Plenty of nature around the property with red squirrels, woodpeckers and numerous other birds.
Great stay - would definitely book again.
Beautiful house on a quiet street within walking distance to town center and restaurants. Arthur is a very welcoming host who cooks great breakfasts. We were also treated with the most awesome shortbread made with his mother's recipe, and fresh flowers in the room. We are so glad we chose to stay here and in Nairn.
Everything was perfect. So much thought & warmth from Sharon & Greg on design and decor. They gave me lots of information on local area too.
The north east coast of Scotland is so beautiful & tranquil and still have convenience of lots of tourist attractions, restaurants and lovely boutique shops.
The location of the property was ideal for us, in that we were next to the grass area around the bandstand, perfect for our dogs. It was very easy to park our car, at no cost, very close to the property. This was ideal for us traveling to all the wonderful facilities in Nairn.
Very impressed with the fact that not only were our needs met, but niceties were provided that weren't on our list. Having a Co-op Store easily available was a real plus. Very convenient to Inverness Airport without having to listen to planes overhead.
The apartment was just perfect. Clean, modern, quality throughout and close to the beach and town of Nairn . A real bonus to have doors opening out over the river from the main bedroom and lounge Our host communicated by return and was most helpful.
The location is amazing, right on the shore! We loved strolling along the beach and the views were incredible. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the staff was kind and helpful. Overall, we definitely recommend this hotel.
Beautifully clean and nicely equipped accommodation with hosts for whom nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast basket comprised of delicious freshly baked bread and fruit. Location for Nairn was perfect.
The hotel was centrally located within Nairn. It was clean and well decorated, all staff were very helpful and professional and the breakfast represented good value for the price.
