The American Bar was fabulous along with the main bar area; we loved the tea, coffee and shortbreads in the room. The amenities of the playground service, stables, off-roading lessons and PGA golf course were all spectacular. The people from the hotel, playground, golf starters, and waitresses were so nice and accommodating except at check out at front desk.

Our hosts were kind and most accommodating. We arrived late in the afternoon and told us we could eat our take out in the dining room; they provided dishes, cutlery and water, and even cleaned up after us. The room was large and the adjoining bathroom spacious (we had it to ourselves). Everything was spotless. There was even bottled water in the room! All in all a fantastic place to overnight.

This luxury 4-star bed and breakfast has quality, spacious rooms with large private bathrooms. Merlindale is an imposing, south-facing stone villa in a quiet area of Crieff.

Lovely warm welcome and effort to make sure we felt welcome. Excellent staff, lovely room and public area. When I ordered scones they were freshly made. We stayed here to then have dinner at Gleneagles. A very high standard of service.
