We stayed in the four poster room. The room was so lovely and quite large with a nice size on-suite. The mattress was very comfortable! Breakfast was wonderful and fully accommodated our dietary needs ( I need gluten free meals.) The location is so beautiful! We had a great stay, and Linda and Dougie are lovely.

Stay in this family house was so nice. The landlord Astrid was really helpful and nice and her English breakfast was simply AMAZING! Guys, you have to try it!
There is a garden with garden furniture, so you can sit there and enjoy the quiet atmosphere. Rooms were clean, full of light. There was fresh water, tea and coffee.

Firstly if you are Booking on here check the post code. At the time we travelled it was wrong. A phone ☎to the hotel got the correct one which put us 6.5 miles away. The correct one is IV5 7PX.
We checked in with the assistance of Jules, who turned out to be superwoman.
She served great 🍺, then evening meals making us feel relaxed. Then we had a good breakfast and yes you guessed served by Jules. Her service made a good over stay more memorable. Many thanks from all four of us.

Our family trip to the Scottish Highlands happened very last moment in the Peak season -July. All hotels and apartments were pretty much booked or available at horrendously high prices.
This property showed up in my search as an affordable option. To be honest we were not even sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised to find a neat and cosy cottage with clean and modern set up. Would highly recommend to go for this property if you have access to your own transport.
The property does not serve breakfast but I was told there are cafes nearby that do. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I would surely consider going back to the same hotel again.

It was lovely ,well presented and just like the pictures online.Nice terrace to sit on. Nice friendly welcome from the host. Bed was very comfortable we slept very well.
Shower was good. And the whole chalet was spotlessly clean. We were attending an event in Inverness so only a short journey away and much more peaceful and much less expensive than in town. And a safe space to park your car.

There are 4 local walks starting from the square. Each takes you to a different type of countryside eg down to the sea to watch seals,up a hill to see lovely views, along the old railway line and through lovely woods and along quiet roads. It is only 2.5 miles to Beauly and there is a pavement all the way so we walked there and had lunch in a pub there and wandered round the shops. We drove to Chanonry Point to look out for the dolphins. We didn’t see any but enjoyed the beach and watching the people coming and going.

Ideal for visiting nearby family on black isle and nairn. 10 minutes by car to Inverness. Lots of places to visit in the area. Chalet was immaculate inside and outside was being repainted. Enclosed garden for dogs. Andrew was very helpful on arrival and couldn't do enough to make the stay more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend and return.

Muir of Ord is situated well to be used as a base to visit The Highlands. It has access to Main roads north and south with the Black Isle on doorstep. A few eateries and carry out places will keep the hunger at bay. Nice friendly folk always keen to speak to you.

Cannot fault this lovely property.
Cannot fault this lovely property. Every room is beautiful and very carefully planned. Loved the kitchen/ diner and loved using the AGA. The bedrooms are all spacious and very comfortable, the bathrooms all have great showers and lovely views . The outside space is great, we didn’t use the bbq and pizza oven but would imagine it’s great to use in the warmer weather. The hot tub was great too.
The house is located near the distillery with lovely views front and back.
Fantastic and well equipt studio apartment with all you need to cook and relax.
Excellent walking distance into Muir of Ord and the show ground (about 20mins walk to the show ground), so excellent for events.
Wifi included and will work best when seated closer to the main house. Washing machine and heated towel rail are excellent additions.
Owners welcoming and friendly..
I'll send up some drainage mats next time I see them in Aldi - so sorry!
The property is modern and very well kept in an attractive rural setting, with access to lovely gardens and outdoor areas. Our hosts were very welcoming and provided good advice for dinner options at nearby hotels and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and offered a wide selection of choices. Definitely one of the best properties that we have stayed at. Beds were really comfortable for a good nights rest.
arrived and was welcomed by very friendly housekeeper, who made sure I was okay, even though it’s a self service hotel, she was extremely welcoming.
bedroom and bathroom were very clean, and well equipped with microwave, kettle and plates, and good tea/coffee tray.
Nice comfortable bed, and close to all amenities.
A lovely find in the woods close to Muir of Ord.
Great value for money and within easy reach of many sights such as Loch Ness, Channory Point (for dolphins) and even Skye.
We took the executive room, which was great and roomy.
Very pleasant welcome on arrival. Room great and comfy bed. Best of all was the fantastic breakfast we received in our own private breakfast room. Best breakfast we have ever had ,and that includes 4* hotels.
We will be back.
What a great hotel, lovely location - not too far from the bustle of Inverness, but close enough to get to my meeting quickly. Great staff, very welcoming, lovely bar, great breakfast, lovely comfortable room, good shower.
Very nice, cozy and beautiful little hotel with rooms just like you would expect from the movies. Very nice staff/bartender and the service was magnificent!
