Gorgeous setting with beautiful views. We stayed in Room #15 which was amazing to look out at lighthouse and Loch. The staff was exceptional, friendly, helpful and fun to be around. The Isle of Skye is an incredible destination and staying at Hotel Eilean larmin made it perfect and a very special memory. Rooms are large and beautifully decorated. Dining at the hotel was elegant offering delicious meals.

The view to the sands of morar are amazing that’s where the good review ends . We got put in room 30 at the top of the building . The shower head on the shower would not stay high enough on the rail just kept sliding down 😳 The window in the room didn’t shut right so there was a draft constantly which made the room cold . Also when the wind got up there was a constant noise which kept my wife up all night . Over all hotel very tired and dirty not worth the money avoid .

The Morar hotel is located in a small picturesque village overlooking Morar bay and sands.
My wife and I had a two night stay over and enjoyed the hospitality of the hotel staff when we used the dining room and bar facilities. All of the staff members looked after us impeccably, in particular Akram and Tuan worked hard to ensure our stay was memorable.
We would certainly recommend the Morar hotel for a relaxing stay in a beautiful location.

Morar is very quiet which was perfect for us.
Morar is very quiet which was perfect for us. It is also very well placed for exploring the surrounding areas. The beach was perfect, just like in the photos! The hotel was excellent, a very good menu and tasty food. Welcoming atmosphere, excellent staff and nothing was too much trouble. We went to Mallaig, 3 miles away, and took a boat trip and got to see Minke whales! We also took the ferry to Skye, just 45 minutes away, and had a fantastic display by dolphins following the ferry!

Morar Hotel is a lovely refurbished hotel with great views from the restaurant and the bedroom we had. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful and the food was good. Excellent buffet choice at breakfast.
Mallaig was only a couple of miles away and there was a boat doing free sailings until the 31st March which we recommend. The dog also had a great holiday running around the beautiful beaches and in and out the water.

It's an out-of-the-way place but has its own rail station.
It's an out-of-the-way place but has its own rail station. The views from the sea view bedrooms are far-reaching and can be watched for hours.
There is a Thai food outlet just a few doors from the hotel but it is closed on Mon/Tue nights.
Better priced and quieter than Mallaig, a good holding point for the ferry.
A fantastic location, overlooking the Moray bay and wonderful views.
The property is an older style hotel with large dimensions in the dining room and bar. Superb decking at the rear allows for uninterrupted views across to the isles and bay. A good size car park is adjacent to the hotel.
The food and drink selection was excellent, my wife and I really enjoyed our breakfasts and main meals taken within the hotel.
The staff were excellent throughout our stay.
I was having a holiday using the "Spirit of Scotland Freedom Pass" and the hotel is right next to the railway station. There were good walks in the locality, such as around the shore of Loch Morar. The hotel was comfortable, and the food better than I expected. The views from the window were very beautiful. I was also intrigued to stay in the place where Sir Arnold Bax had written several of symphonies in the 1930s.
Excellent, attentive staff... even allowed a little early checkin after a long drive up to Morar...
The rooms & dining facilities are of a high standard.... good menu both in bar & dining room... breakfast selection good as well...
Majority of staff are great - however Akrim - takes the time to check and make sure your stay is comfortable & that you have everything you need...
Light and airy. Beautifully clean and well provided with linen and kitchen essentials etc. Lovely couple of owners very pleasant and helpful. Quiet and peaceful situation, easy to walk to loch morar, and a short scenic car or bicycle ride to mallaig or arising . Would definitely recommend it to all our friends wanting relaxing sanctuary. Easy parking for all.
Amazing hotel with fantastic staff and comfortable rooms. The restaurant food was lovely and the views from the hotel were incredible.
The staff in particular were amazing. They went above and beyond to ensure my mother and me had a comfortable stay. In particular, Tuan and Connor were very thoughtful and friendly.
The view was absolutely beautiful, it looked over the sea. The location was super convenient, we took the ferry the following morning and was just a mere 6 minute drive from Mallaig. The service was also really good, I asked for a hair dryer and one was promptly delivered by hand to my door.
Gorgeous location on the coast of Scotland. We were able to walk to Loch Morar, and down to the beach. It was only a 5 minute drive to the ferry, to continue our journey on to the Isle of Skye. The lobby decor and dining room are very nice.
Good location across from Silver Sands of Morar. The single room was small but I knew it would be. Adequate space for a solo traveler. Good number of outlets and placed well in the room. Nice restaurant and staff. Good free parking.
Meals were pretty good, Dining room staff very nice and pleasant and help full and the Hotel great position over looking the sands and water with great sunset's over the lsle of Rum &Eigg
This was my fourth stay at the Morar. The staff are always courteous and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is ideally placed to explore the wonderful area.
Can't answer this as we didn't actually stay. The hotel was so bad that I left and drove 3.5 hours home instead of staying. As such cannot give example
