The breakfast was excellent, good selection. Within walking distance of the train station, shops, and attractions, which was helpful because I was using public transportation.

Location was great - within walking distance of restaurants, etc.. The breakfast room was delightful and the food was very good. Loved the room and all the art throughout the inn. All the people we met were very helpful.

It is a typical small linear Welsh village on route A487 to Porthmadog. The entrance to Portmerion is located by the traffic lights on the main road (High Street). To get to Minnffordd you drive through the village of (A487) Penrhyndeudraeth where there is free parking available food outlets fish and chipshop, Chinese , kebab shop , and vegetarian restaurant . The Ffestniog railway runs through both villages. On the A487 High Street in Penrhyndeudraeth there is a general store ,post office , a Church , Doctors and Pharmacy .
