Excellent, warm and welcoming staff, lovely room.
Food was off the scale terrific.
Only one small suggestion to the brilliant chef.....maybe consider halfing the noodle and duck bon bon starter? It was totally delicious but I struggled with the following mackerel, poached egg and asparagus dish. However, this plate too, was amazing, mackerel - sublime and the asparagus was perfect.
In the beautiful North Wales countryside, this award-winning, traditional British inn blends the warm welcome of a local pub with delicious food, excellent service and a comfortable bed.

Llanfairfechan is a good place for exploring that part of the North Wales coast, Llandudno, Conwy, Bangor, Anglesey and Caernarfon.
Like many places COVID has forced pubs to close so be prepared to travel to eat out

Llanfairfecgan is a lovely quiet seaside town.
Llanfairfecgan is a lovely quiet seaside town. There are a number of cafes and takeaways but most close quite early so it is worth checking the times as the food is excellent. Lots of nice local walks either along the coast or up into the hills. Popular with dog walkers and windsurfers.

It’s a small village which is lovely and quiet and away from the busy tourist areas in Conwy. There’s a few shops and takeaways. There’s a beach but it’s not sandy- if you want a sandy beach then it’s just a few mins drive to the next junction and there’s a huge sandy beach but check tide times as we missed out a couple of times when the tide was in so the beach had gone! There is a gorgeous restaurant called the Sea Grass that is at llanfairfechan beach front- see photos. The food here is great and such a relaxed atmosphere. Make sure you ring and book a table in advance, it’s booked up quickly.
It’s really close to Conwy, Llandudno and Anglesey. Rhyl is about 30 mins away too. It’s a perfect area as a base, there’s so many places to go that doesn’t involve a long drive. For families we’d recommend Greenwood forest park- absolutely brilliant for kids! There’s rides and loads of other activities there. Also SC2 in Rhyl was great- it’s an indoor water park with slides and fun stuff for kids. Zip world was also a big hit! The forest rollercoaster was brilliant but make sure you book online early. They also have tree top courses, bouncy nets etc. There’s loads of places in the area to visit and activities to do.

Llanfairfechan is a small quiet coastal town within easy reach of all that North Wales has to offer being located on the edge of Snowdonia and beautiful scenery. It has pubs, shops, a supermarket, places to eat in, takeaways, a promenade for enjoying a quiet walk, a golf course and many stunning walks are situated just outside the town for hiking. It is easily accessed off the A55 and also has a train station if you don't want to drive.

A very quiet town but with good connections to Anglesey and Snowdon National Park. There is a co-op supermarket, pubs and takeaway places, plus a lovely seafood restaurant (that is very popular) on the sea front.

Great for a peaceful break. Not at all commercial.
Great for a peaceful break. Not at all commercial. Suitable for couples or young families.
Apart from the Pavilion on the front, which is great, very few places to eat other than a couple of takeaways. The local pub not serving food at the moment, because of lockdown restrictions, but you are welcome to take in your takeaway food.
It was truly a delightful “home from home”. The location is superb with amazing views and convenient for all trips to Snowdonia, Anglesey and Llandudno. Sufficient off-road parking at the property. The location has an engaging buzz of activity at the sea front while remaining peaceful. Sharon and Paul have created a stylish and practical design in their property. In our room we found thoughtful touches rarely seen outside 5* hotels. The breakfast options were great and food was served without delay at our pre-selected time.
The hotel is beautiful and off road parking.
Decoration throughout is very tasteful, rooms are comfortable with armchairs in the window to enjoy the sea view. We stayed in the lighthouse room and I can not find a single fault. Little extras included by Paul and Sharon included drinks in the fridge and snacks on top of the complimentary coffee and tea.
Breakfast was delicious and you had a great choice. My Eggs benedict were lovely and my husbands full English was too.
The hotel was beautiful we stayed in the light house suite it was fantastic the view was beautiful. Its right on the beach front and just a little drive or walk to the nearest chip shop. The owners were lovely and the nearest pub the village Inn don't do food but the owners said you can take your takeaway in there and consume there alcohol which I thought was a good idea. Breakfast was fantastic there was a good choice.
Sharon and Paul went the extra mile to make their guests comfortable. There were lots of little extras eg. Fridge in room had fresh milk, bottles of water and fresh fruit juice and Prosecco. There are not many eating places in Llanfairfechan but there are takeaways and Sharon and Paul were quite happy for their guests to take a meal back to eat in the dining room. An excellent idea.
Great vibes, extremely comfortable, clean and fresh, good views, brilliant shower, delicious quality food; hosts who are extremely attentive to every aspect of hospitality and made our holiday very personable. A holiday accommodation that surpasses and equals many four star hotels which we have stayed in.
I visited Llanfairfechan for a mountain climbing trip. It is a good place to get into the mountains and of course close to the sea, which I enjoyed a bit of a break after descending. The flat was very clean and comfortable. I appreciate the friendly and helpful response to my enquiries.
Apartment was perfect for one night stay and better than a hotel as had our own space as a family and 5 mins walk to the beach ... host was excellent at giving recommendations of places to visit and parking instructions were very clear
The location of the property was excellent being rural with amazing views yet within a 5 minute drive of Llanfairfechan and it's shops, pubs and supermarket. A great base to explore Snowdonia, the North Wales coastline and Anglesey.
This is a lovely hotel in a great location.
The sunsets are amazing. Great walks from the door step. Excellent breakfasts. The hosts are really friendly and professional. We loved it.
