The only thing we liked was the location. That was the problem with the rest of it. I’m sure they feel that they don’t need to try.

We chose the B&B option and had some really good breakfasts at the venue. In town for a wedding and the front desk was great at directing us around and ordering a cab for us.
Set in Caernarfon, in a building dating from 1904, Meifod House offers a garden and guestrooms with free WiFi. Offering a terrace, the property is located within 1.6 mi of Caernarfon Castle.

Delightful! The house has an energy of it`s own, vibrant and purposeful to make you enjoy the stay, feel thrown back in 1960. All the rooms are wonderfully furnished (library, living room, dining room, the bar, etc). The hosts are friendly and very helpful. If you want to have an experience, we recommend staying here: everything is made for comfort. Our room was spacious, there were mirrors everywhere, the vines are hovering over the windows very so discreetly, the bathroom (with a vintage tub) was perfectly sized for a nice bath time!

Proximity to Zip World, owners kept referring to Anglesey, how good it was! Bangor full of students.!! Caernavon we recommended a restaurant, but owners told us it was not! good friends had said so.
The 'local' knowledge was poor of the owners, or was either contradictory or wrong. The Slate Restaurant nearby.
