Excellent location, fabulous sea view rooms, staff were friendly and very helpful, nothing was to much trouble. Nice walk to the beach, next to the south west costal path. We struggled with the food somewhat, it's wasn't really to our taste.

Drang house all rooms have stairs, hotel in Little Petherick

Drang house all rooms have stairs offers accommodations in Padstow, 1.3 miles from Brea Beach and 1.7 miles from Daymer Bay Beach.

I stayed for a week. Excellent location, right in the middle of the old town, steps from the harbour and close to all the shops and restaurants. Of course there was some outside noise at night, but it was generally quiet by about 11.30pm. I could hear owls hooting one night! I was upgraded to a suite consisting of a lounge, bedroom and bathroom. It's located in an old building, so the floors were wonky, but plenty of room. I didn't meet the owners when I was there, I collected and dropped off the key at the PW1 bar downstairs, but it wasn't a problem. The small fridge and electric jug were appreciated.

Oystercatcher Apartments, hotel in Little Petherick

Oystercatcher Apartments enjoys a location in Polzeath, 23 miles from Newquay Train Station and 14 miles from Tintagel Castle. This 3-star apartment offers a bar.

lovely location, great view from apartment, apartment very clean. liked that we had some toiletries (shower gel / shampoo) and lovely clean fluffy towels. There was kitchen stuff (dishcloth, washing up liquid, extra black bag) and dog bowls, poo bags and a beer was a nice touch! Dog was very happy! Bedrooms nice, our teenagers didn't mind sharing with nice bunk beds and one single bed. Main double bed could do with a new mattress. Very close to beach and the Surf Side rum bar on the beach was really lovely.

The key is in the name "Little," Petherick.

The key is in the name "Little," Petherick. There is not very much here. As far as I know the only two public buildings are a small hotel and restaurant and the church. There are other attractions nearby but you will need a car to get to them. The main road through the village is small and twisty and dangerous for pedestrians. This is a great location from which to explore. Using your bike will mean a stiff climb to start the day. There is a bus service through the village between Padstow and Wadebridge which runs regularly but not frequently. Most people will use their cars to get about.
