Unfortunately we stayed in a Chateau in France the night before so…. This one didn’t compare well to its French counterpart. I guess it’s ok for England.

The staff was wonderful! As were the meals! The steak pie last night with peas and mashed potatoes was delicious! This mornings, the Eggs Benedict surpassed my expectations. The room we were able to book at the last minute was perfect and so comfortable. A short ride with the help of the staff to secure a taxi to Gatwick airport in the morning was so helpful! We highly recommend The Curious Pig in the Parlour!

Friendly staff and great for golfers and racecourse users. Good swimming pool and convenient parking. Rooms are tired and dated and the double beds were uncomfortable for two people. There also wasn’t enough staff breakfast and the volume of people meaning food ran out quickly.

Because there was nobody at the front desk I had to phone...
Because there was nobody at the front desk I had to phone the hotel to inform them that the one light bulb in the bathroom did not work, the tap in the bathroom did not work properly and the basin did not drain properly BUT they did nothing about it.
The furniture was also visibly dirty.

we had a breakfast at the property but it was only warm so we had the need to find a cafe close by ,bear this in mind if you book a breakfast .

If you want to eat somewhere else The Star Inn a 2 minute drive away is worth visiting.
We were booked into the Restaurant next door at Lingfield racing. It is not cheap but if you want to add to your visit a day at the races plus a meal is worth it.

Loved the location of our room however a bit tired. Some light bulbs weren’t working and as there was no heated towel rail in the bathroom we couldn’t dry our towels so had no alternative but to have fresh ones each day.
Not enough seats in the restaurant so Sunday morning we left without breakfast as the queue for a table was too long. This really does have to be sorted.
We needed a last minute hotel as our flight in Gatwick got canceled and we came here. We had a great night of sleep, exactly what we needed, and the staff was very helpful and arranged us a taxi back to the airport the next day. The room is pretty big and very clean, beds are very comfortable. They are well equipped too. The food was nothing special but good enough. Would definitely recommend!
The Hotel had a pleasant view of the race track and golf course. There was little sound from the course even though there were many players. Reception was very helpful, efficient and friendly. The on site restaurant had good evening meals.
The room was a reasonable size and there was a refrigerator! Many UK hotels I have stayed in do not have refrigerators.
We stayed at the Lingfield for a wedding near by. Upon arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful and we even got upgraded to a larger room overlooking the race track. It was lovely view and room. Would recommend this hotel to those staying in the area.
Great location for sightseeing by car and walking into Lingfield town centre for the various restaurants there. The room was fine, especially for the price we paid. Free parking. Breakfast at £10 was good quality. Staff were pleasant.
Excellent, Loved our stay here when visiting Lingfield Racecourse. Very nice spacious pub with a big beer garden, Free Car Park, unfortunately live in Cornwall otherwise i would be staying here more often. Will be back again.

The hotel is in a good location. I paid to upgrade to a room that overlooked the race course. The dinner menu had enough choice and the breakfast was to a good standard. The bed was comfortable.
We stayed here while in the area for a wedding. The hotel was spotlessly clean and very covid secure. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room overlooking the racecourse was lovely.
Staff were friendly, it was lovely and quiet. The grounds were beautiful, and our little cabin was really clean. Perfectly positioned for a stay after the racing at Lingfield.
