Overall nice hotel if one doesn't have too high expectations. The newly renovated rooms are nice and beds are comfy. The hotel bar is amazing and breakfast for 14GBP was plentyful with an option of hot breakfasts and a buffet. Cocktails were good in the evening.

The hotel was easy to get to from the railway station and was centrally situated. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. The room was clean, bed comfortable and the TV worked The hotel did advise that it was situated in a noisy area of town.

We liked everything. Our room was beyond anything we expected -- spacious and comfortable; the shower and bath were top quality. Staff were professional and welcoming and did their best to impress us and make us feel at home.
