What a wonderful find - the Highdown - Brunning & Price is a fabulous pub with comfortable rooms and great service. The full english breakfast was excellent and we loved the artwork displayed throughout the property! The surrounding Highdown Hill area is great to explore with expansive views over the ocean. Highly recommended!

Lancing is worth the drive along the A27 is beach is required as it is far cheaper for parking and eating than Brighton. Pebbly beach like Brighton but more room to move about. There is a nice beach walk towards Worthing for keen walkers.

Always the case, beach days much better when it’s sunny! We went to the beach near Lancing briefly, to Worthing & on the pier instead & to the local park & playground & then Highdowm Gardens, tea room & to the viewpoint there.

We were there for the Goodwood revival & didn’t see much of Lancing. However it looked a lovely beach & a nice place for seafront walks. We ate at a local Italian restaurant & at an Indian restaurant & the food was excellent & good value for money.
The apartment was everything I hoped for a quiet getaway and the location right on the beach really fed the soul. The balcony was fabulous overlooking the sea with tame Starlings you could actually hand feed. The restaurant/cafe "perch" directly below is the place to go on the beach at Lancing with great food at good prices and, although it was always fairly busy there was no noise coming into the apartment. There was nowhere closer to the sea.... not even the be each huts.
. .Perfect location and proximity to Church for family funeral next day. Patrick met us on arrival after a tiring journey by train from the Midlands... settled us in so that we felt at ease.
Friends from Brighton joined us for an excellent meal at the pub next door. Good night's sleep in comfy bed.. generous breakfast selection available. Patrick agreed to late checkout to coincide with timing of funeral at Holy Family Church Lancing which was helpful.
The flat location was excellent for us, close to the centre of Lancing and close to the beach, the welcome on arrival was fabulous, and the flat with all the extra's was brilliant. The breakfast was really nice and gave us a choice on what we could have from cereals to boiled and scrambled egg on toast with fresh coffee and orange juice. The flat was very clean and comfortable, with wifi and loads of TV stations including Netflicks.
Let's be realistic this is not an high end posh hotel and it's above a pub and in a main Street.
Meals while i was there were excellent and the sirloin steak was on par with miller and cater further up the road and good value without skimpy portions.
Staff were excellent if you just want a bed there are far worse places and would stay again
The host was attentive, The apartment was very clean and tidy and was very well equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Netflix, coffee machine and Google Nest were an added bonus! Great location for Brighton (via train) or Lancing beach.
The property is beautifully decorated and clean. Loved the welcoming bottle of Prosecco, thank you very much! I loved the fact that we were just a short walk to Lancing beach and the shops. We will be booking in here again in future.
From when I was welcomed at the door and shown the room and facilities, I could not take it in at first. I thought I was in a 5 star hotel. Breakfast facilities second to none for choice. Will definitely be back.
Karen's room is perfect for a stay in Lancing. Everything was beautifully laid out and Karen was such a welcoming and gracious host. She really went above and beyond! I hope to be back soon!
Lovely clean spacious property. Milk and biscuits left for us. Great location. We walked to worthing and around Lancing. We were treating ourselves and were not disappointed.
This is a very well equipped apartment close to Lancing beach. Everything worked and the host was kind enough to greet us and they had left us with some essential supplies.
Nice clean large bedroom with a sea view from Room 1. The staff at the Hotel were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again if I was in Lancing.
