The White Hart Royal, Moreton-in-Marsh, Cotswolds, hotel in Kingham

In a 17th-century former traveler's inn, the White Hart is in Moreton-in-Marsh’s historic town center.

Super easier to find, very picturesque with the wisteria at the end of their bloom draped over the doorways. The overall experience was lovely and a nice base to return to. The lady working the desk helped me navigate my luggage transfer and made sure everything was in order when I didn’t know what to do. As an anxious person, this was very kind and appreciated.

Number Four at Stow, hotel in Kingham

This boutique hotel is located alongside the A429, a minute’s drive from the charming market town of Stow-on-the-Wold. In the heart of the Cotswolds, it has free Wi-Fi and free parking.

I was all ready to be disappointed, because this hotel was a back-up to where we were supposed to stay. We were fortunate, because this hotel was nice. The place was clean, updated, peaceful, and relaxing.

The room was so inviting and comfortable. The mattresses and sheets were comfortable and nice quality. Our little attic room was as idyllic as the village. The breakfast was fantastic, and had a lot of variety.

Victoria House, hotel in Kingham

Victoria House offers luxury boutique room-only accommodations in Stow on the Wold in The Cotswolds.

Victoria House was very comfortable. Steam heaters and towel racks enabled me to be able to handwashing and dry numerous items of clothing. We loved the antiques and the ease of the coded entry. We were able to find free parking near the apartment . Enjoyed breakfast a quick step through the alley a few steps away each morning.

Kingham is a pretty village, you can take a short walk. A few doors down is the Wild Rabbit but the Kingham Plough serves great food. It’s only a ten minute taxi ride to several other eateries and Daylesford farm. 20-30 minutes from lots of other great places to visit.

We liked the atmosphere and the staff who were all excellent. Room was cosy and food was delicious including a great breakfast with quality choices. We would be very happy to stay again. We would hope for better weather next time so we can see more of the village itself and explore the area.

In the early 1900's My Grandparents Tom and Leticia Goodway were married and lived in Kingham. 'The Plough ' was my Grandfathers local. It was in the Plough that my Father Goerge Cardew asked Tom Goodway for his daughter Ruby's hand in Marriage. I will always love Kingham. I hope to return in the Spring when I will plan to stay at 'The Plough' which is part of my family history. The staff are not local to Kingham but they carried with them the friendliness and the warmth of Kingham village during my short stay. I hope to book a Family meeting at the Plough in the near future

Very quiet and secluded location, ideal for relaxing break.

Very quiet and secluded location, ideal for relaxing break. Lodges very clean with all amenities although the wifi was very poor and I had to purchase data on my phone as couldn't connect. Hot tub lovely and clean although decking needs some attention to remove algae. Played golf at the club just 2 minutes away, lovely. Will be staying again.

The Kingham Plough is a beautiful, chic pub, based in an equally pretty Cotswolds village. The room was spacious, a lovely mix of contemporary and character, with all the facilities we needed and more. Lots of nice little touches - like the fresh milk delivered to your door for your in-room tea or coffee. The staff were great - reserving a table in the restaurant for us even though we’d forgotten to do so, just in case (thank goodness, as they were otherwise fully booked). The food was delicious too!

We are very pleased to have found The Kingham Pllough. Located a 10-minute drive southwest of Chipping Norton, it is a perfect location from which to explore the Cotswolds. With nicely appointed comfortable rooms, a terrific restaurant, and complimentary onsite parking, it ticks all the boxes for country pub accommodation. Two of the Plough’s six rooms are also dog-friendly.

Lovely cottage is a very beautiful village. The cottage is very comfortable, the fire was set and ready to light. The Little Barn is a few minuets walk from the pub, but this actually makes it better because you get to walk through the village before dinner and breakfast. We highly recommend the Kingham Plough.

We had a lovely stay at the Kingham Plough. Ate there and the food was excellent. Room was lovely. Didn’t realise we had to put a sign on the door for room service but it didn’t affect our stay. Thank you
