the spa and room were exceptional, only downside was that you couldn’t access the hdmi ports ont the tv which was a bit of a let down. other than that it was an excellent stay.
Located in Weaverham, 15 miles from Tatton Park, The oaklands hotel has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

Great location, was a very much loved property and it was very welcoming. Host was welcoming and gave a lot of finishing touches to make you feel welcome, including fresh products on Arrival. Would remains the blue plant aquarium around 15 minute drive away. It’s in the middle of most places. We visited the farmers arms for a few drinks and was a nice quiet place and nice beer garden.

Kelsall is a beautiful village, but the hotel provided inadequate standard of food.
There was another hotel quite near and we ended up having our evening meal there for 2 evenings out of 3.
The hotel needs to do something about the poor cooking at the Royal Oak Hotel.
We recommend visiting the Anderson Boat Lift in Northwich. Had a wonderful time sailing down the river.

Here for Folk Festival.
Here for Folk Festival. Pretty village with good number of shops. Frequent buses going through the village. Couple of pubs and eating places, particularly "The Morris Dancer" in the centre of the village.
Very friendly staff & lovely hotel. I wanted a quiet night away, I got just that. The bar & restaurant area is separate so you can have quiet time on your own or in the bar area with people. The food was so good and homemade. The room was very clean and comfortable.
