Hundalee House, hotel in Jedburgh

Set within 15 acres of rural woodland and gardens, this guest house is 1.5 miles from the centre of Jedburgh. Hundalee House has free WiFi and eggs from resident hens are served in the mornings.

Lovely impressive house (our grandson called it a small stately home) thankfully a little outside of Jedburgh. Friendly hosts. Very nice breakfast (ordered the night before). Our room and bathroom were in a separate part of the house, and very clean & tidy. Couple of decent restaurants in the locality, but not in Jedburgh itself. Our grandson inadvertently locked the yale lock on his bedroom door, and the door needed to be forced open, damaging the frame. The hosts were very understanding, and wouldnt accept our offer to pay for the repair.

Jedburgh is a lovely town and we visited the Thistle & Tweed shop on the High Street which we cannot recommend highly enough. There is also a lovely little florist and the young lady who helped us with a bouquet and also arranged some irises for us to leave at our Dad's grave was so helpful.

Lovely little market town where we normally just break our journey up to Aberdeen. It was nice to spend a little bit longer even though it's now the 'off season'. Lovely surroundings - it would seem there's a lot to do around there in Spring/Summer. Also some nice restaurants - especially Bella Sicily.

Plenty to see all within easy walking distance in this small town. Good choice of eating out, even on a Sunday evening. There is also a good selection of independent shops and small businesses in the centre.

Lovely apartment, felt more like a cottage. Everyone in Jedburgh were friendly and helpful. Plenty of shops, gift shops, bars and restaurants and places of interest, also near to other places to visit ie. Kelso, Hawick and a bit further Edinburgh. All car parks in Jedburgh are free which is a huge bonus. The river walk is very relaxing.

This very well equipped, beautifully appointed caravan is situated on an exceptionally well laid out site in the heart of Scotland’s scenic, historic Border country which offers everything one could desire from country walks, historic sites, gentle walks, hikes, mountain biking, gardens, fishing; you name it it’s available nearby..the on site golf course is very good. The caravan and the site are dog friendly with walks from the door. Excellent restaurant and take away food, bar and cafe plus children’s play area..

Lovely cosy very well appointed lodge - the owner had thought of everything we needed, like milk in the fridge, tea coffee and biscuits, washing up liquid etc. Quiet rural spot next to a wood with deer and lots of birds, and owner's pretty garden. Sunny verandah and chairs. Very dog friendly with an adjoining fenced meadow for dog to use safely. A few minutes drive in to Jedburgh.

Great apartment, great location, loved Scotland, easy to find, easy to park, everything that you need is nearby, the locals were so friendly, our first time in Scotland and Jedburgh is top of my list to visit again. As Scotland is such a big country I thought we can make this our first stop for a few nights each time we visit Scotland and visit deeper into this amazing country.

This property was perfect. After 10 days of traveling around Scotland I stayed here for one night and wished I could’ve stayed more. I had the Castle room. Absolutely stunning room, impeccably, clean, super accommodating hosts, perfect location to town while still being secluded. Excellent food, lovely dining area, lots of little amenities. Easy offstreet parking.
