Nicely located for a walk into Ironbridge. Black Swan has good food close by. Owner was happy for us to leave the car for an extra couple of hours on check out day whilst we went for a walk. Used the communal lounge for a night cap :)

Beautiful stay at The Library House. Sarah and Tim were very welcoming and friendly hosts and their little dog Mabel was delightful. The Eliot Room was spacious and beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and the super king sized bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was generous and delicious and the nearby parking was free with a permit provided by the hosts.

The town itself is ok, it was our second visit there and we found if you want to eat out, best to go further afield, the Woodbridge Inn at Coalport is worth a visit.
From a historical point of Ironbridge is a very good place to stay,it is very close to Blist's Hill Victorian Village (our 2nd visit) and also the Black Country Living Museum - brilliant. On a previous trip we have been to the Darby House and Ironbridge Museum.
The surrounding countryside is beautiful and if you have time there are some lovely walks to go on.

Give yourself a good few hours to visit Jackfield Tile Museum, it is a real treat. Lots to see in the museum. A church to visit (we didn't have time as we didn't arrive until later in the afternoon) where you could have seen the Tiling used.
We had food at The White Heart and The Malthouse, both were great. But The Malthouse called last orders at 8.00pm on Sunday.
Signage is easy when you know but can be confusing at first. Sat Nav got lost. 20 mile speed limit through town.

We did not access the property. We knew there was no point . We had to find alternative accommodation at huge cost and inconvenience. The property was up a steep narrow road, unsuitable for people with mobility issues to walk. There was no reference to this on booking.com website. The car park was situated more than a 5 minute walk away at the bottom and over the road. This was impossible for elderly and disabled to walk to and from. Taking the car up and down would have caused stress as the road does not allow for 2 cars to pass. None of this was explained in the information. Our break was ruined because of serious omissions

This was the third time we had visited the area.
This was the third time we had visited the area. Apart from all the museums there is much to see in the area, from various potteries to the Long Mind area of Shropshire - so different from where we live in rural Norfolk.
This is a lovely quirky B&B - not at all like a standard budget chain hotel. Our room 5, had comfy twin beds and had a spacious bathroom just for our use. across the corridor. A very minor inconvenience, but we were aware of this when booking. Tom, the host, was great and very keen to make sure that we were had everything we needed. He also whips up a great cooked breakfast using quality ingredients. Its walkable to the Ironbridge, though we chose to drive to the large car park just down the road. We would definitely use again.
Nothing. The reason I have given it such an awful review is because it caught fire 6 weeks ago and the place is a virtual shell. However you were still advertising it last week when I booked and obviously by asking me for this review you still seem oblivious of the fact that it had burned down. In fact I stayed at the nearby Swan Hotel who had taken over the Malthouse business. The Swan was fine. I suggest that you (booking. com) get your own house in order and stop advertising a hotel that burned down 6 weeks ago.
We celebrated a special birthday with a 2 night stay in this beautiful guest house. The location is fantastic , a little away but within a walking distance to Ironbridge . It is very near the river and around the corner from the tile museum. There are 2 inns very close. We stayed in the Coach House and our room was very cosy, comfortable, airy and beautifully decorated. The hosts Sarah and James are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious ! We couldn’t ask for more and we will be back !
Comfortable cottage, everything provided including tea and coffee with milk in the fridge. The location was perfect, quiet area but with a relatively easy walk to the main attractions of Ironbridge. The information sent prior to our stay was very useful. Although there is no parking at the cottage, there was a parking bay not far away but during our stay there were no available spaces here, luckily we were able to park in the local pub but if this was not an option parking could be an issue for guests.
The hotel is located on the main street and has easy walking to many of the village attractions. You can park at the front to unload cases and there is short term street parking across the road. To have long term parking for the car you need to be on the other side of the famous bridge. It's a few minutes to drive there but just a short walk back. Parking is free after 5.00 p.m. Ironbridge has plenty of local district attractions. Good hotel style breakfast and we had a room overlooking the river.
Eleanor and Sean were great hosts. A warm and friendly welcome included carrying heavy cases up to our room, an unexpected but much appreciated touch. Both very attentive ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay in particular at breakfast which was excellent. The location couldn't be bettered if visiting to make the most of the Ironbridge Gorge and is just a few minutes walk from the Ironbridge itself. Would highly recommend.
Beautiful location with wonderful staff.
The hotel itself is an interesting old building but our room had a newly renovated modern bathroom.
Breakfasts were simple but delicious.
The bar area was a classy place to go for an evening drink.
There were plenty of parking spaces but the walk to Ironbridge is short and extremely pleasant.
Definitely a good three star hotel. A modest renovation could easily make this a four or five star.
Lovely place to stay and we were made to feel very welcome by the hosts, James & Sarah. My partner enjoyed a good full English breakfast every morning, while I opted for the healthier options on offer! Excellent location for visiting the Ironbridge and Coalbrookdale Museums. We walked into Ironbridge most evenings and found a variety of places where we could enjoy a good meal or have a drink or two. Super holiday!
The location is perfect though this does mean leaving the car a 10 minute walk away in a locked car park. The room was very comfortable with a stunning view on the Ironbridge. The room had a fridge, complete with water, wine and juices. The bathroom featured both a roll bath facing the Ironbridge and a shower. Blists Hill Victorian Town Museum and RAF Cosford (free!) are well worth a visit and are nearby.
On the macro scale, it's a perfect location for exploring Ironbridge Gorge. On the micro-scale, it's really nice to be located above a cosy cafe!
The little extras--like fruit juices in your room refrigerator and slices of fig cake upon your arrival--made the experience of staying here special.
Exceptional staff responding to your needs and requests.
Bravo!
Breakfast was not provided as self catering but we like to thank the hosts for leaving fresh milk in the fridge together with all items for us to make tea or coffee. We liked the layout of the property and everything looked fresh and new. Parking space was very near to the entrance/exit to the building. An excellent place to stay in a quiet location.
Beautiful historic building and setting. Peaceful, relaxed restaurant with excellent food. Tastefully furnished bedroom with lots of clothes storage space and a lovely fireplace. Plenty of towels. Easily controlled wall heater. Friendly & helpful Reception staff. Short walk into Ironbridge but lovely hillside park area to rear of hotel too.
Superb cottage in a great location for both Brosely and Ironbridge
The host was brilliant - kept in touch to make sure everything was as it should be and gave us lots of little tips etc for the area
Would be helpful if there was a 2nd loo but appreciate that nowhere for it to go
Cottage was warm and lots of hot water
The Decor was beautiful, our room was spotless and the bed was ultra comfortable. Our use of the private garden terrace really made it special. Our breakfast was delicious, we also had tea and cake on arrival. Mabel the dog made our stay even more memorable. A truly beautiful bed and breakfast, in the heart of Ironbridge.
Good location in town, views of the river from the room.
Breakfast is served next door at the Malt House and we decided to have dinner there too l. Food really good.
Room was warm and felt quite cosy.
Last minute booking to add a night to a trip in Worcestershire on way home, so room with breakfast only £62.
Lovely old hotel. Victoria was a fabulous host, with attention to every little detail. Location was superb, with on-site parking, and just a short stroll down the hill from the main Ironbridge High Street, and all local museums, restaurants, pubs and the river front all within walking distance.
We loved the location of these charming hotel. We had a room overlooking the famous Ironbridge. The owners were lovely and we were warmly welcomed. They took over in February so I'm sure more change will come, but we really had a lovely time there.
Good location, quiet but within walking distance to Ironbridge.
Very comfortable bed, good quality bedding. Nice large shower.Lee and Julie extremely friendly and helpful.
Location perfect for visit to Ironbridge Gorge and Museums. Good, comfortable lounge and kitchen area. Comfortable beds and bedrooms. Convenient for supermarket.
