Very friendly staff. an error had occurred somewhere between booking.com and the Hotel such that they had allocated a double room when a twin had been reserved. Staff member Danny re arranged their reservations to provide a family room at no extra charge. Restaurant staff were very good.

I lost my back pack, and Sue on reception managed to track it down for me on her FB page. Sue was my guardian Angel she went above and beyond to help me, even taking me in her own car to the Ferry terminal where it had been left. A huge thankyou to her.
With a scenic, tranquil location in Dunoon, The Park Hotel offers impressive sea views and stylish rooms. There is free parking and a traditional Scottish restaurant.

Nice location, nice breakfast, lovely Romanian front of house lady who I hope is being properly rewarded and treated, as she was one of the best things about the place

It was a perfect place to stay, so nice and relaxing we wished we could have stayed longer.
The breakfast was amazing, I’m a good eater and love my cooked breakfasts but it nearly beat me, I won in the end, best breakfast ever.
Absolutely nothing to not like.

As a base for exploring the area and some of the islands of West Scotland it was very good. There is little in Inverkip village itself, apart from a marina. Public transport by bus, train and nearby ferries is good. We didn't eat in the village, apart from take away fish and chips, although we understand it is possible to eat in the only hotel/pub

Inverkip is a pleasant coastal town with a picturesque harbour. It is close to many other seaside towns such as Largs and Kilbride. Lyle's Lookout in Greenock offers great views of the Firth of Clyde. It is within one hours drive of Glasgow airport.

Stayed here three times at Kip Village, twice at Kip Retreat. It is in a lovely position for ferries to the islands and Benmore Botanic Gardens. Easy for other places like Loch Lomond as well. Finlaystone Estate is wonderful and Great Cumbrae is worth a visit from Largs and the ferry to Bute is just around the corner.
No trouble finding Inverkip and the local shops and others say they had a lovely meal at Inverkip Hotel and we like our meal at the Coast Carvery near Port Glasgow.

Was just in Inverkip for the night after cycling from Glasgow. It was a friendly little town where everyone says hello when you pass them on the sidewalk. There was a lovely country park which has some nice walks and a beach to visit. Aside from that everything else was at least a car drive away. I would have liked to have stayed a couple of nights, but probably wouldn't stay for much longer.
