The location was convenient and the price was reasonable, which is the reason I had booked. There are places to eat nearby, according to google maps.

Perfect location to go to Zipworld Tower and hikes nearby. We stayed in pod 3 which was very cosy, but still spacious. Pen Pych waterfall is not far away and is a nice walk. Bed was comfy. Ideal space for a long weekend for a couple!
Beautiful old building in a fantastic location. We went to the Penderyn distillery tour (which is about a mile away). We also drove to Brecon for the day. The hotel was very clean. The staff are friendly. Overall we would recommend this hotel and will be returning. However, some attention is needed to the gravel road that leads to the car park (massive holes need filling there) which does not make a good first impression. The TV in our room did not work. Ad hoc payment for drinks and food. We ended up chasing staff so we could pay, others were not paying at all. The organisation of the hotel needs a serious overhaul but the staff are lovely.
Room on top of wedding party with music going till 12am. Fire alarm going off early hours of the morning. When I opened the door to see what was going on I got accused of smoking. Had to tell the man that we had been sleeping. Breakfast staff rude. Asked us to sit down and not tell us what to do for example, how breakfast was run and that it was self serve. Breakfast staff eating food behind the bar whilst serving breakfast. Breakfast Very salty could not eat. Having worked in hospitality my self the hotel is not run to standards!
Staff were absolutely fantastic !!! Very accommodating & helpful 👌
Evening meal was lovely
Hotel room extremely clean 👍
Lovely bar / restaurant area
Relaxed atmosphere
I'd definitely return & recommend it just in a different room if it is raining ........
The hotel is set away from the main road and it feels rural and peaceful when approaching the hotel.
We like older buildings and it definitely had character, we loved the mixture of period furniture in our room. Our room was spotlessly clean.
Very big room and toilet. Quiet place. There is a restaurant in hotel. Menu is very good- everyone will find something for himself. The breakfast was delicious- self serving.
A beautiful building with very friendly and helpful staff and the food was very nice. Bedroom and bathrooms lively size. Hotel settings are beautiful too.
Location and the building is great. Close to Brecon Beacon mountains, waterfalls and walks. Hotel has enough space to park, even during very busy periods.
