The location was very good, short drive to everything we wanted to visit. We didn't have a chance to explore Helston itself though. The house was very clean on arrival, everything was well organized and we could find everything we needed inside. The house was also pre-heated to the comfortable temperature for our arrival. The kitchen also had everything, even tea bags. We couldn't find the sault, but we didn't expect it to be there. The host was very responsive and welcoming, we exchanged messages here on booking.com Loved our experience, will certainly recommend staying there.

The location is very good, though a bit tricky to navigate with the tiny road. It was cool to stay in a converted old mill. Pretty surroundings. Nice host.

It is a great location in the center, 6 min away from Kynance Cove. The helicopter was cosy and warm. When it is windy, it feels like you are being calmed down by the helicopter movement. The hosts are great, love the Ukrainian flag greeting me. The breakfast was yummy and I had plenty of choices being a vegetarian. The shower and toilet were clean.

The booking was made for our grown-up children so that they can be close to the cottage we rented. They had a wonderful time, breakfast was very good with service. Our children emphasized the kindness and friendliness of hosts.

Helston has a long history, interesting shops and is a good starting point for visiting beaches, geology and ice cream!Since the by-pass, the town centre is safer! Big Salisbury's, Lidl. Access to the Lizard, Porthleven, Praa sands Kynance Cove all within 20 minutes travel.
I stayed at the Premier Inn with its restaurant, car park and spacious room.

The quietude of the space was so right for me. Lizard Peninsula easy to get to and only took a few minutes.
I loved the Llamas and donkey pottering around the site.
Because the property had a balcony and good outdoor furniture. I could sit there and view the sea in the background.

Helston is a lovely little place. There are nice pubs and places to eat, especially the burger place called Boo Koos . A few good shops to peruse, would stay here again as it makes a good base for exploring the area.

I have visited Helston many times and find that the town is suffering from the results of the pandemic and its affect on local businesses. Having said that the area around is still full of interesting places to visit and nice people.

Helston as a town has been left behind. In poor shape.
Helston as a town has been left behind. In poor shape. However, the surrounding area is wonderful. Porthleven, small but very friendly and welcoming.
Location ideal for exploring the St Ives, Penzance, St Michael's Mount, and the coast from Porthleven round to Falmouth. Wonderful memories 💖. Thank you.
Kate and Terry are lovely people that go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We arrived a bit late and Kate managed to get us a reservation in a nearby inn for dinner (which was very good, by the way, The Star Inn in Porkellis). We did not bring any rain clothes and on our one walk day it was pouring down. Kate let us borrow her own rain suit, which enabled us to keep to our plans. Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked by Kate (pancakes, yum). Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.
The property was clean and well presented, our bedroom was clean and the facilities were good, ie T.V, internet, coffee, tea and a jug of water. Also, there was a good range of towels and toiletries for us to use. The location was close to Helston itself and for getting buses to other parts of Cornwall, most of them stopped at the Tesco Superstore which is a few minutes walk from the Mandeley. would highly recommend to others and will be going back again ourselves.
It's very close to Praa Sands beach and also to St. Michaels mountain.
Britannia House captured my heart with its vintage charm, warm hosts, brilliant coffee, and lovely breakfast. The attic, complete with a fireplace and cozy furniture, provided a serene retreat. The house's unique character and history made it a truly remarkable stay. If you're looking for an enchanting escape that takes you back in time, Britannia House is the perfect choice.
We probably never had a better breakfast in an b&b or hotel ever. The room was not too big but adequate for a 3 day visit, the bathroom had a perfect shower. The location was ideally located to visit the several interesting locations in Cornwall.
We had a very very pleasant stay, enjoyed the restaurants that were recommended and can only recommend this b&b to future Cornwall-visitors. Thank you very much, Vicki, for having us.
The whole B&B is very bright and cheerful! It is very well furnished and maintained including the very large common rooms. Easy parking and the Tony’s bar next door was relaxing and very convenient. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were amazing and there was something for everyone’s taste. We would definitely stay there again if we return to Cornwall.
This hotel is an actual gem! Situated right on the beach in a quiet little village. The facility was stunning and the rooms perfect! Tip: the mirror in the bathroom contains a light for getting ready (I only discovered this on leaving). But I will 100% be coming back for a weekend. The staff were lovely and the breakfast just perfect also! Thanks so much!
Nice property with spacious room and free parking.. location is a bit remote though.. Helston is quite near to main tourist attractions so Lizard point, Kynance cove, Penzance and St Ives all are within few a minutes drive from here. Host is very lovely and made sure the rooms are clean.. breakfast was good as well.
A warm welcome from the owner with a quick tour of the thoughtfully and beautifully furnished apartment. The apartment is light and spacious with a lovely tranquil feel about it.
Situation is perfect in the historic old area of Helston and only a stones throw from numerous hostelries.
Small traditional english Inn with really nice rooms. We hat a marvelous room with perfect bed and a nice view out to the sea. The area ist extremely remote and quiet. The restaurant serves good food with a variety of seafood. We liked our stay very much.
I liked the location very central in Helston, a beautiful town.
Great idea to convert the mill, has some charm but needs more maintenance.
The living room was spacious and the host left us everything we needed including a very well equipped kitchen.
We stayed here for around 4 days and it was great. It was raining most of the evenings so we couldn't enjoy the outdoors much.
But if you are visiting Cornwall this would be ideal. Close to Hells mouth, St Michael's, Worlds End and Lizard Point.
The staff were all incredibly welcoming and attentive, the hotel itself lovely, relaxed but immaculate. The food was DEVINE both in the evening meal and breakfast the following morning. I really couldn't recommend The Three Tuns highly enough.
The property owner, Sarah was absolutely fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for her. Sarah made us feel so welcome. Very comfortable accommodation, everything you need in the room, beautiful views and excellent home cooked breakfast.
Breakfasts were excellent, plenty of choice & well presented.
Helston has a lovely park within a minute or so of the guesthouse and is also situated well for visiting Falmouth, Penzance, Porthleven & many lovely beaches nearby
Sarah was extremely welcoming and it was a pleasure staying in her bed'n' breakfast hotel. The parking place is right in front of the house, which ist convenient. The room was above Sarah's living room and it was cosy.
Simple well appointed house in a quiet area close to Helston centre. It was clean with everything you would want. Very comfortable bed. The kitchen had everything you need. Great communication from the owner.
