Grooms House, hotel in Hebden Bridge

Grooms House in Hebden Bridge provides accommodations with free Wifi, 7.5 miles from Victoria Theatre, 23 miles from King George's Hall, and 23 miles from White Rose Shopping Centre.

The room was very nice and in a great location except there is no place to park. It would have been nice if the owners would have let us know where they are located so we could have asked questions. I had written to ask about parking and did not receive an answer. I was able to figure out where to park but dropping off my 85 year old mom and luggage was tricky. You can not even stop there for a minute! Great place for young people who just want to be left alone. It did not include breakfast but I knew that. They have the place fixed up really cute and it would be great if you had taken the train there. (Probably not with an 85 year old because you still need to carry luggage a ways.)

It's diverse and inclusive with characterful Yorkshire stone buildings, dog friendly pubs, charm, independent businesses, friendly locals, buzzing park and plenty of vegan choices for our vegan family of five. A perfect small town !

The loveliest place, cant believe I have never been before.

The loveliest place, cant believe I have never been before. Full of quirky and independent shops. Be prepared to walk slightly out of the centre to ensure you visit all the little streets. Really good food and drinks good bars and a theatre. Ate at the Greek restaurant Ayasophia? I think it was called,(up some stairs in centre of town) and would definetley reccomend.

Would have liked to have stayed longer in Hebden Bridge,...

Would have liked to have stayed longer in Hebden Bridge, though not in "COSY COTTAGE". Although loved H/Bridge I left the cottage after only one night and not the three I had booked for. very disappointed with the Cottage, no heating on, no information in file how to get heating on, only made aware TV only had "streaming" no terrestrial channels, on arrival to Cottage. Sad when I read from other visitors to Cottage how warm it was. defiantly not my experience. Less than impressed from emails from whoever owns it.

Quaint and beautiful little market town - delightful!

Quaint and beautiful little market town - delightful! Has a lot of personality, and is a perfect little get-away from the metropolis of Manchester. There were excellent little cafes and restaurants. My favourite was 'Leila's Kitchen'. Also, the old cinema was charming and wonderful. Excellent for walking, too. Surrounded by beautiful natural scenery.

Hebden Bridge is picturesque and set in a wonderful location. Most of the shopping area is paved over and is accessible . There are many shops to wander about in and plenty of cafes for refreshments and a lovely cake shop with the old favourites for sale. Also there are plenty of places to eat in the evening a choice of Italian Greek and Indian to name a few. Ha Ha but we opted for Dominos.

    A beautiful and relaxing place.

A beautiful and relaxing place. There is plenty to do, whether you want to sit and have a quiet drink, eat out or go for walks. There are also lots of buses to help you explore the surrounding areas and it is a straight bus journey to see where the Brontes lived - I didn't realise in time that bus trip was possible but if you ask any of the very friendly people in Hebden Bridge, they will give you all the details you need. There really is something for everyone there.

The property is right in the heart of Hebden Bridge, with pubs, restaurants and cafes all within easy walking distance. There are good bus services to the larger towns nearby (Halifax, Burnley), and there are two long stay car parks within 300m. Keypad access is straightforward, and the communication from the property is excellent, so you know what to expect and how to gain access. The rooms are well furnished and well equipped. The decor is welcoming and the property is very clean. The continental breakfast was pretty good.

The apartment was spacious and nicely decorated and furnished. Check-in procedures were easy to follow and straightforward. Spotlessly clean. Centrally located within a few minutes walk of anywhere in the town centre of Hebden Bridge. Nice views over the town. Comfortable beds with top quality linen. The lady we dealt with (Josephine) was very helpful. We were not quite sure why one bedroom was a single when there was room for it to be a double or a twin. An excellent place for a short stay with friends. Highly recommended.

The apartment was lovely, well furnished with everything you could need. It was very clean and modern. It’s just a couple of minutes walk to the centre of Hebden Bridge which was great and parking was available which was really helpful. I rated everything as great on the feedback apart from staff and this was only because I didn’t see anyone with it being a self check in. Great touches to the service though, especially the breakfast hamper. I’ve already told friends and we’re looking to book again soon!

The location was perfect, an enjoyable stroll into Hebden Bridge. The cottage was cosy and welcoming, we loved the outdoor terrace and enjoyed an evening drink there, and breakfast there the next morning. The communication from the hosts was exceptional, they answered questions promptly and were always friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be recommending it to others!

Very clean and tidy, plenty of space for x4 adults. All rooms were more spacious than we expected them to be. It was heated well and was nice and warm on a very cold winters night. Could not fault the house. Had good communication with the host and the location is excellent for a few minute stroll to get to Hebden Bridge centre.

The house has easy access to Hebden Bridge and Todmorden and is great for families with lots of options for sleeping arrangements. It is ‘eco friendly’ with eco products provided and lots of different teas! It has two toilets which is always convenient for a family. It is good value for money.
