Great staff. Lovely location. Full of character. Travelled with my dog. Extremely dog friendly: actually the most dog-friendly hotel I've stayed in. Pet can stay with you if you eat in the brasserie. Usually you get a "doggy" room. Which I find uncomfortable as I'm allergic to most dogs (I have a low allergy breed). But this room was clean and airy: didn't l use spa - only there for a one night stop over. But would definitely return.

Excellent breakfast was supplied albeit cooked yourself…but I had no issue with that. What was available was very fresh and in good quantity. Great idea!

Lovely stay for a break, nice and clean, breakfast was beautiful bar staff were so helpful and friendly (james and carl) the grounds are beautiful spa was amazing, just gutted we didn't dine there on the night as the food looked gorgeous! but would definatly go back and would definitely recommend :)
The hotel is situated in the beautiful countryside surrounded by a really lovely manicured garden, the hotel reception staff were friendly and very welcoming and gave good information, the room which was dog friendly on the first floor was a good size, clean and very quiet with a dog blanket and bowl plus treat supplied. we had breakfast and dinner both the staff and the food were very good. We did get enough time to use the spa but maybe next time, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay
We loved the hotel. The building and grounds were stunning, clean, well looked after. The staff were impossibly polite and helpful. The food, at dinner and breakfast, was superb. The rates were very reasonable. I could not think of a way to improve our stay. I would love to return.
