Hawkesbury Upton is a nice village, centrally located for lots of tourist attractions. There are lots of nice walks in the surrounding countryside. It has a well stocked shop and 2 pubs. The Beaufort Arms is very nice, with good beer and food. The Fox Inn had recently reopened and was having teething troubles, which I hope they sort out.
Fantastic service. Everyone weeny above and beyond.
I was doing a 2000 mile 20 day charity bicycle ride and picked this hotel as stopover for day 18. Everything we’d perfect and the staff event kept the kitchen I open for us as we were late in due to the terrible weather that day.
David and his wife were wonderful hosts. David made a huge roasted dinner for us. This is a great location in the middle of Hawkesbury Upton with easy access to the Cotswold Way. There’s also a convenient small grocery across the street.
Nothing. I only ever give fair reviews, but I have to honestly say that The Fox Inn at Hawkesbury Upton is the worst place I have ever stayed. Avoid at all costs!
