Dont be put off by first impressions. It's a very old property and yes a bit tired but Joy and Godfrey have done an amazing job in making this feel like home from home. They have put their heart and soul into this , the pub comes to life at night and just ask the locals what they think! A little gem and xmas decs amazing! I booked this for Cheltenham races due to prices. 20 miles away but only half hours drive and amazing value as a budget room. Sorry Joy I took my key home with me! I will put it in the post.

The room was comfortable, spacious and exceptionally clean, with plenty of food provided for breakfast. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The B and B was in an ideal location for visiting attractions like national trust and English heritage. We visited Westbury Park, Symonds yat, Chasleton, Newark Park and Goodridge castle all of which were within easy reach and great places to visit. We ate at several places The royal exchange Hartpury, Toby Carvery Highnam and the Beefeater The longford Inn all of which served excellent food and offered a good dining experience. We would recommend a stay at this lovely B and b.
The lovely owners greeted us and made sure we had everything that we needed for our stay.
A fantastic spotless modern room with a good selection of food and drink for our continental breakfast. Also the fridge was a great size for chilling our wine and beer!
If you enjoy walking it is ideally situated for exploring Ashleworth Village and Hartpury Bee Shelter.
We're looking forward to returning for our daughters graduation!
we loved the location, very close to Hartpury equine college where I was competing at the weekend. It also had air conditioning which was a bonus in this really hot weather. Very quiet, own garden to sit out in and enjoy the peace and quiet and watching the alpacas
Perfect location for Hartpury university, very quiet and peaceful location. The cottage had everything we needed and was clean and cosy. Loved the alpacas.
