Room was very good, maybe a bit small for a family room, but value for many was really good, clean, bathroom also excellent, we also liked the breakfast.

I paid £140 for one night to stay with my family but unfortunately it was a terrible stay. Room was not as per my expectations. No Hot water at all. Poor cleaning.
Carpet was too old and smell horrible. Hair in bathroom and on pillow case. Staff was not cooperative.
It was a terrible stay in one word if I say. I will never stay there again.

The room was clean The air conditioning didn’t work well The staff were pleasant but required further training The menu was surprisingly limited low budget fare for the price bracket. The food was hot & well served by pleasant staff but low quality cheap tasting preparation of fish in that particular dish Given the popularity of their situation ie the racecourse they could be delivering a much better quality all round experience

We just immigrated from South Africa to Scotland and we needed a hotel that was affordable and clean for our family and dogs while looking for a permanent rental.
Being new to the area the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. They could answer all our questions about the area and gave good tips regarding shops, areas and sight seeing.
The location was perfect as all areas around were accessible near town etc.. and we could travel easily to different places.

we checked in to a beautiful room which was lovely and warm. After a very enjoyable evening meal in the restaurant we returned to no heating or hot water. The receptionist was very proactive, she attempted to restart the boiler and when that didn't work we were up graded to another room no fuss.
what had the potential to be a horrible stay was saved by the excellent staff. and the new room was even nicer
Thank you

Everything was easy to find.
Everything was easy to find.
Breakfast was easy to find and varied choices.
We had take away in room and obtaining cutlery and crockery was easy to do.
Ate at a great Indian just around the corner Bombay Cottage which was great food and welcoming service.
Location was perfect for our needs. Close to major roads, and only a 10 minute walk for us to Hamilton railway station. ( Perfect for travelling into Glasgow). Hotel was clean, comfortable and facilities were excellent. Great choice of food for breakfast ( cooked or continental). The room was a decent size and the bed was very comfy. Great ensuite and decent lighting for getting ready to go out. Would definitely stay here again..
Room in an annexe near hotel, spacious and clean. Plentiful parking available. Choice of eateries restaurant in the hotel and an Italian bistro/bar also in the building which does nice pizza/pasta. Bus stop outside and bus into town every 10 mins. Taxi to races was £6
Hamilton has most of what you need for a weekend pubs/restaurants etc.
Very close to Hamilton park racecourse. Very comfortable bed. Clean and great value for a nights stay after the races. As stated by others, it’s above a busy, but great pub which is lovely until early morning (2am) but if you’re happy to end your night in the pub with a great buzz then book a room!
Evening meal menu limited but excellent quality.
Hotel is 2 minutes walk to Hamilton West Station with frequent service to Glasgow.
If football supporter hotel is only 5 minute walk to Academicals ground.
Proprietor and his wife very cordial. Accommodation and dining room spotless.
No breakfast, but that is advertised in advance. However, the owners pointed me to a nearby cafe that did marvellous breakfasts. They also allowed takeaways to be taken into the hotel, and consumed in the dining area. There was a microwave there, and cutlery. Very helpful owners.
A good location, around 10 minutes from the bus/railway station with shops including large supermarkets & takeaways within a 20 minutes walking distance. Very Friendly owner (and cute dog). Reasonably quiet overnight as well (once a nearby restaurant closes up).
Hotel was nice. Beds comfy. Stayed in holiday inns before and they are always comfortable to stay in and this was the same here.
Check in staff were lovely. I stayed with my 2 dogs and they were greeted as if they were any other guest which was lovely.
The hotel aesthetic is lovely. The room was very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The location of the hotel was perfect for me. Breakfast was amazing! Lots of different options and tasted fresh and all hot products were hot.
I was happy we had our own space to be spread out, on a long vacation (this place was only for 4 nights of a 2 week trip) it was nice to have a bigger spot than a hotel room.
Clean, comfortable, quiet and good location near train station--all for a reasonable price. Host was very kind and helpful in advising local points of interest.
Having stayed at there sister hotel in Motherwell and love it was hopefull I would have same experience at this property ..once again this chain delivered .
